The Lodge at Camden Hills was lovely. We would and will go back. Very often photos are not exactly accurate and clients can be disappointed. This was the exact opposite. What you see is what you get!!! They rooms were exactly as they were shown online!!!

My wife and I were celebrating our 35th anniversary and thought this would be a nice place to stay. We were very pleased with our room and the services provided by the lodge. Great view of the bay from our porch. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I went to Camden to celebrate our 1st anniversary. I had an old living social coupon that I was hoping to use towards our stay. Jim was SO sweet when I called to reserve our room and agreed to allow my living social to be used against our total bill. He was so accommodating, sweet, and responsive!...

We are very happy that you enjoyed your first anniversary at the Lodge at Camden Hills. We try to always be here to answer your calls when you need some information about Camden, a potential stay, or details about the lodge and our rooms. The Lodge sits on a hill with a beautiful ocean view. The suite had a woodburning fireplace with a huge supply of firewood right outside the door. The king size bed was very comfortable and full bath had everything needed. When we arrived earlier than anticipated, Calissa (sp?) greeted us and make us feel welcome plus provided information on places...

Thank you for your wonderful review. We do everything we can to make our guests feel right at home and comfortable. We just had the furnaces serviced for the fall and winter seasons and I forgot to push the reset button on your unit. An easy fix but sorry just the same. I'm happy the fireplace kept you warm. We enjoyed having you at the Lodge. Guests like you are the best, always smiling and having fun. That's what a vacation is all about. On your next visit to the Lodge stay longer, there is so much to do in the area. Camden offers as much as Acadia but is a lot less hectic. And with Belfast, Rockland and...

This is a great spot if you like to have your own private cottage and are looking for a place that's not right in the heart of town but pretty close. We loved having a fireplace, jacuzzi and private porch but also being able to walk the mile or so into Camden. Jim, who greeted us, was incredibly friendly and...

We could not have been more pleased with this place to stay! Our cottage was very nicely appointed and cozy. We loved the wood burning fireplace and the Jacuzzi tub. In the morning, we were pleased to see a stocked Keurig with different coffee choices; the breakfast basket outside our door was another example of their attention to detail. We...

I stayed here this July with family and can't say enough about the Lodge at Camden Hills. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The location is ideal- just north of the town of Camden, and set up on a hill above the highway, its quiet and the grounds are well maintained. The views looking out toward the ocean...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Lodge at Camden Hills is one of the Camden's most scenic properties. Owned by the Burgess family for over forty years, the Lodge is a village of four cottages, four suites, and four standard rooms in five unique buildings across nine acres. With a view of Penobscot Bay ahead and Mount Battie directly behind us, it is easy to relax at the Lodge. Watch sailboats on the bay, wind-blown from island to island, from your private deck. Enjoy well-appointed, clean, and comfortable lodging. There is comfort in the privacy of your own space at the Lodge. Each room has a private entrance with parking and a deck with water views of Penobscot Bay. Our goal is to make our rooms as comfortable as possible. It is our experience that after a good night's sleep, Maine will work its magic on your mind and spirit! Our luxurious bedding by Cuddledown will lull you into a peaceful slumber. Our Maine-made comforters and pillows along with 400-thread count, 100% combed cotton bedding are inviting, soft, and comfortable. A continental breakfast basket is hung outside your door each morning so you can enjoy breakfast in your room at your leisure before heading out to explore the mid-coast. Start your morning with freshly-brewed coffee, tea, local baked goods, Maine-made Stonewall Kitchen jam, and orange juice. At day's end experience dramatically dark, star-filled skies, the robust smell of fir trees mixed with a little wood smoke, and cool air on your skin. Together these elements create an experience that is what Maine is all about. ... more   less
