A very nice, clean, friendly hotel in the middle of town. The rooms are large, comfortable, and well appointed. The included breakfast was enough to keep you until dinner. Book directly with the hotel and you avoid a fifteen dollar per day parking fee.

Hotel's Favourite
My husband, 8-year-old son, and I recently stayed at Lord Camden Inn for 3 nights. The hotel is very charming and we really enjoyed it there. We stayed in one of the fireplace suites with 2 queen beds and loved having the extra living room space. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was awesome and the complimentary coffee/tea and cookie station in the lobby was also a treat! The hotel is right in the center of town, so very convenient to shops and restaurants. We would definitely come back again!

So glad the Lord Camden was open and on hand as our 2 week booking for an apartment rental was ‘unavailable’ when we arrived, rather tried, from England at 4pm. (Beware of booking.com and Vacasa!) The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our quiet room was tucked away with a lovely super king bed and en-suite, all with good linen. We had a fridge and microwave and ample storage space. Breakfast was included but generally we skipped it to have it with the elderly relative we had come to visit.

Dear Ann, Your misfortune with your Vacasa rental turned out to be our good fortune as it gave us not only the opportunity to share our lovely hotel and town with you, but the chance to meet such lovely visitors from the U.K. In addition to its terrific location, welcoming staff, and lovely rooms, in-room amenities such as the fridge and microwave, Lord Camden Inn also offers something often not thought about when planning travel to smaller locales: 24-hour on-site staffing. Without that important feature, it might have meant a night in your car rental! Fortunately, I was on-duty to guide you to a room I was certain you would like for the night. To know it, and Lord Camden Inn in, meet all your needs--resulting in a two-week stay is very gratifying indeed. Please be sure to join us on your next visit to the U.S. and bring Ms. Jones to enjoy breakfast with you! All the best, Denise Moore Guest Services Manager

We had an excellent stay, as usual, at the Lord Camden. Special shout out to Denise who was a huge help when we realized we hadn’t booked enough rooms. Denise was able to get us sorted with the last empty room and we had a great time in Camden! Can’t wait to get back!

Hello, Simon. It was terrific fun meeting you and all of your Toboggan Championship mates from Fredericton, NB! Gentleman one and all. And my thanks to you and Jarrett for the soup from Long Grain. Delicious! I'm glad I was able to sort out a room for you and your bunkmate. Next year, though, let's not wait until Toboggan race weekend to verify all needed rooms have been reserved! We'll see you at next year's Toboggan weekend. Until then... All the best, Denise Moore Guest Services Manager

Super cute hotel, located right in the heart of downtown Camden. Staff are so lovely, kind, and helpful! Views were great. Nice breakfast spread. Great restaurants in walking distance. Felt very safe. Negatives: Walls are a little thin (but it is an older hotel, so it has that character and charm). I’m a light sleeper and tend to struggle with this at hotels when I travel, but staff were accommodating to move my room with zero issue. The parking is not on location, you have to walk just a little distance and gain access with a key card, but not a huge inconvenience. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and the hotel had super cute charm. The staff were the best- very accommodating and helpful.

We always enjoy our stay at Lord Camden Inn. The staff were extremely gracious and helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast, especially the egg and bacon breakfast sandwiches and omelette with sausage and spinach were awesome. My husband and I just adore the charm of the Inn. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Dear Sightseer, Absolutely nothing makes our day better than knowing that we 'hit all our marks' during a guest stay. To know we've hit those marks on more than one stay--most especially while celebrating as momentous of an occasion as your 30th Anniversary-- it does not get any better than that! Thank you for the wonderful words, and for being such loyal patrons of Lord Camden Inn. May we see you again very, very soon! Warmest regards, Denise Moore Guest Services Manager

We came in with friends for a 4 day stay. We had requested a top floor for the view and the view of the harbor at sunrise was incredible. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We absolutely will stay here again. Would recommend to anyone wishing New England charm. House keeping was wonderful.

I have come to the realization I'm not a boutique hotel traveler so take this review with a grain of salt. The location is downtown and walking distance to everything. However, parking is a block away and since it was raining that was pain. You also have to get a card to get in and then return it which is annoying. Service was wonderful. We had a large suite but the view was the roof. I loved the exposed brick and architectural details but the furnishings seemed worn and needed refreshing. Bathroom was nicely updated but cramped. They offer a full breakfast which was nice way to start the day. The big positive was the wonderful staff but the parking in the rain was a negative. For me, I just prefer something with more ammenities: valet and room service for the money. But, those looking for a quaint, personal experience will love this. Do not miss dining at Natalie's Restaurant when visiting Camden (see my review).

Dear San Diego Mom, We certainly appreciate you letting us know you're not a 'boutique' gal. In spite of that, I'm glad you found many areas of your stay to your liking, especially our "wonderful staff". The very wet summer and fall we had did not make for the enjoyment of our area like we would have liked, and understand your critique of your parking experience. As with every small, old New England town, parking can be a challenge. To offer guaranteed guest parking without worry of ticketing or towing during town regulated hours, we own space in the closest nearby private lot (a block from our back entrance.) I do hope the rainy parking situation does not prevent you from enjoying our wonderful staff, charming architectural details, freshly-made full buffet breakfast, and great location during a future visit to Camden. Kindest regards, Denise Moore Guest Services Manager
