The hotel lobby seems pretty nice, but had a horrible smell; the staff said there was some form of leak. The rooms were ok. The whole place gave off an old vibe but not in a vintage/good sort of way, kinda like a dejected aura. The best part was the roof top restaurant, the view of the city was. spectacular.
Had a temple wedding at the neighbouring Paramara devi temple and was put up in this hotel which was centrally located, conveniently accessible to the Kochi Metro and a stone's throw away from Ernakulam North railway junction. Contrary to some of the reviews below, I found the staff friendly and even willing to go the extra mile to tend to our requests. The breakfast buffet spread was decent, and the rooms squeaky clean. As a guest, you get more than just value for what you pay here. Highly recommended for a no frills budget stay or a short business trip.
We had bedbugs in our bed!!! The room was small, the staff was not friendly, the hotel a bit old and the surroundings were not very nice. I can not recommend this hotel. The only good thing I can mention is the restaurant. We had a very polite waiter and the food was good as well.
Had an opportunity to enjoy christmas buffet lunch @ hotel presidency.appropriately furnished and very gud ambience. The food and beverage choices at the hotel were awesome with a wide spread of international tastes and regional cuisines. As a star hotel, the dining atmosphere and service was excellent and well presented. The hotel staffs were very courteous and friendly. Overall we had a great and memorable time there and certainly would like to visit the place again.strongly recommended for others.
The reception area look very smart. It's when you get to the room that you realise it's only a front. The beds are okay neat and tidy. But the infrastructure could so with renovations. Windows are stained and dirty as well as bathroom basin. Mouldy and black at points. Shower head is no clean I didn't use it for th 3 days I was here. Tea cups provided in room coated with leftover residue from previous use on the inside. At my previous hotel the friendly staff would bring anything you asked for to your room here it's like they are doing you a favour if you ask for an extra towel. When I called housekeeping they wanted to know if my other towel had been used 1st before sending another. Breakfast was okay. A good spread. Breakfast area was clean and the lady in charge welcoming. It was an okay stay but I need of a good clean all around. …
