Room quality was good. Room service is prompt but menu card missing in the room. Did not get a copy even after requesting to the reception. House keeping is not proactive but once you request, they are prompt and immediately brings what you need. Food was tasting Ok but the complimentary breakfast had less items than expected. Though, I would say the stay was good, staffs were well behaved, and food was manageable, somehow, the experience was mediocre or less premium than expected or when compared to hotels at this price range. So, stay was good but not great!

I have been staying in this hotel for over 10 years and have seen a couple of changes in Management Agents. When the hotel was run by Spree Group, I was "courted" by the GM to provide a detailed review of its standards as I travel around the world quite a bit as a pilot. The general service staff in the hotel provides for an unwelcoming environment. Staff one comes across in the corridors are unwelcoming and do not greet guests. There seems to be a clear lack of comprehension of requests. The room had no laundry list or bag. The call to reception ended up having 3 communications including 2 room visits just to get the list and the bag. Chefs and staff in the Feast Restaurant need to be more proactive in anticipating guests' needs. Obvious orders come without fork and spoon and tea requests without teaspoons etc. The TV in the room with over 1500 channels is a challenge. Almost all need to have a subscription and literally no free movie channels in English. The state of the room sees curtains adrift and floor material sticking out and carpets curled up providing for a tripping environment. We had to place an obstacle so that we did not trip. Staff needs to be trained with a keen eye to help the hotel preserve and improve its image. All quite happy to chug along. The Standard of staff recruited needs to be upgraded.

The hotel rooms are neat and clean. The bedspread was spotlessly clean, the bathroom towel was a bit stained but I would rate this hotel quite high on cleanliness compared to hotels at similar price point in Kerala. The food was tasty - I had to order food at the room due to covid restrictions. The reception staff were very responsive to my requests but the restaurant staff need training on dealing with customers. Despite repeated reminders that I needed breakfast at about 7:45am (I had an appointment) and assurances to the same, they were late on this count.

It was a try as I could not find rooms at hotel where I normally stay in Ernakulam. But I can say it was a perfect one we got. This hotel was linked with superstar Mohanlal! After stay I believe it’s owned by him as everywhere there is Ashirwad Cinemas promo! I did this booking directly to the hotel. Where they have provided complete details on time, in fact they Told me that hotel is undergoing a major renovation but it won’t affect guest rather all guest rooms were renovated to meet all modern amenities. Another surprise was the price they offered that was substantially lower than the famous booking sites. It was 7 members, 3 rooms, with breakfast it was lowest price may be 2500 Lower than famous booking sites. Mr. Raymond, manager of the property was so pleasant over the phone and provided best package for me. The check in was so pleasant and easy, and rooms were quite spacious with excellent facilities. It has iP TV with no issues to access any channels, mini fridge, excellent bathroom facilities with toiletries. The beds and linen were smooth and clean. Room had kettle, RO water, coffee,tea, milk powders etc in sufficient quantities. No glitches as such anywhere when we had a issue in one of the bathrooms of a room, they apologise and offers to change the room as they could not rectify it. The food was good, with few kerala dishes, North Indian, etc were served in buffets breakfast. May be parking is an issue as there were limited space! But I will still recommend this hotel for the comfort they offered for this guest, the location may look tricky but believe me it’s in walkable distance from MG road. I will definitely consider this property for my future stays in Ernakulam.

This was my fourth stay at Travancore court and we always love to come back here. Great ambience and awesome staff. The new renovated rooms are state of art. The buffet breakfast served is great in taste All the items served had the authentic taste of Kerala. The linen used in the rooms was of great quality. The bathrooms are neat and clean. 24 hours of hot water supply added to the comfort level. Over all a very satisfying and enjoyable stay. I would personally rate the experience as five star.

Can't describe in words how grateful we are for the hospitality provided to us and our family.
This place is almost like my second home. We being in Chennai had to host my wedding in kochi and we got in touch with Mr.Raymon On call initially to provide our requirements.
He was so proactive and helped us out completely throughout the journey from providing us the best rooms,hospitality, convenient check in and check outs( they went out of the way to understand the situation and provide us the best service available)
All the staffs are so good at what they do and are so cordial😃
Once we entered travancore we never even thought of looking for alternatives cos they made us feel so at home.
We initially only went there looking for accommodation but were so impressed and eventually hosted one of my wedding events in their celebration hall for which Mr.Anand completely assisted us with the buffet setup,decor contact and stood around till the end with his team as a great leader.
All our family members loved the food,accommodation and hospitality.
There were so many last minute request for iron box,ices,Cleaning rooms and so on which was taken up so promptly and done professional well.
Now talking about the hotel: 1)Hospitality 💯 2)Food 💯 one of the best breakfast spreads and almost everything we had tasted really really good. Your chefs are amazing. 3) stay 💯 beautiful rooms and ambience is just so artistic and antique. A kind request plss don't change the interiors. This is definitely your USP and changing it to a modern outlook would just make it look like another normal hotel interior. So attached to the hotel now cos we visited,stayed and were pampered that I genuinely wish all the well for this hotel. Hence repeating again the same request,pls don't change your interiors,you could probably improve your lightings😃

Saying just 'I had a pleasant stay' would be unfair from my part. I have stayed at Travancore Court for ten days as part of my work. Within two days of my stay I started to feel like I am at home. It was the first time that I felt safe and secure at a hotel. The really appreciating experience that I had during my stay was, acknowledging my wake up time, which was usually past the breakfast buffet time, the staffs began to save breakfast for which was a real day saver. The staffs are very friendly.

One of the best stays in the city, the property is at a walkable distance from Ernakulam Junction Railway station and Ernakulam South Metro Station. Mr Balram (Sales Head) is such a helpful and kind person , starting from the checkin till the checkout he took care of everything and it was hassle free process. Enjoyed my stay at Travancore court, once again thanking the entire team and especially Mr Balram. Cheers!

We had a great stay at the TRAVANCORE COURT hotel. Rooms size and facilities are very good. Good can be improved in terms of options available though the taste was very good. There is renovation work going on in the hotel to upgrade the rooms which leads to some noise. Swimming pool is at the rooftop the view from which is spectacular. Overall a good place to stay if in transit.

Hi. There are a few restaurants nearby and also a metro station a little down the road. There is a very nice south Indian restaurant which we went pretty much every day. I think it was sri krishna or something. That place is awesome. If u are staying for a couple of days you are better off hiring a taxi for a couple of days as its very convenient and quite reasonable too
The hotel management is not concerned on what we Carry to the room. Only thing is, if you are having a guest for more than 4hrs in the room they need the ID proof of the guest.
