Beware there is no television in any rooms or common areas. I'm not a TV junkie but watching the news and relaxing a bit before turning in for the night is something I like to do. The NO television is not fully disclosed on the Room descriptions in the web site.

We spent 4 nights at the Crocker Pond House and absolutely loved it! Stuart and Ellen were wonderful and made us feel so welcome in their beautiful home. They made us a delicious and bountiful breakfast each morning. They were happy to give us advice on places to hike, explore or drive as well as the best places to eat....

Cons- when we arrived, we walked in and no one was to be found. We wandered around a bit calling out "hello" and finally Stuart came. He was less than welcoming. A man of few words. The website touts "all rooms are south facing with unobstructed views of the mountains". This is an outright lie. There are NO mountain views....

This is a beautiful B&B! We were traveling thru New England looking at fall colours and were lucky enough to stay at Crocker Pond House! We were looking for one-of-kind experience and we got it. The house abounds with loving details and the surroundings are beautiful. We stayed at CPH for 1 night and we were very pleased with the place. It is a beautiful house nested in the hills of Bethel, very quiet and quaint. Our rooms were in loft style which I believe it could sleep up to 4 people with very comfortable bed. Common areas also well equipped with books, games, comfortable living...
