I can't say enough about our stay at the Village Inn. We had an incredible stay - stayed in room 1 which was recently renovated and so cute and well done with a super comfy bed and linens. It's on the bottom floor on the corner so got good light and air from the gorgeous lake across the street. It's...

I loved the Village Inn! The owners are very nice, the inn was relaxing and I had the best night sleep. I love that it's walking distance to all of the little shops. We attended a wedding here and the owners of the Inn made all the guests feel very welcome

We stayed here for a graduation at nearby Colby College at the recommendation of friends. Probably would look elsewhere next time, especially if room 5 were your only option. If you're looking for a decent B&B with a beautiful view this for you. Just don't expect to be pampered or for the place to look as elegant as it does...

The rooms were cute, but simple. I was here with my family a few years ago and it did the job for one night. The view is awesome, and it is right in the center of "downtown" Belgrade. The restaurant is also great!

I stayed there 3 years ago and was disappointed. I heard it was under new ownership so decided to give it a try again. Poor housekeeping, had to ask for towels, coffee ran out in the morning and no way to get more, rooms old and tired with broken furniture and drapes that did not fit. What a shame. It...

The view of the pond was nice, the downfall of this inn was the basic room we were staying in smelled of paint, we were put in a room with high traffic passing by outside our windows and highway right outside the window as well, flies were coming out of the "breakfast" needless to say we went elsewhere for breakfast,...

This was our third visit to this hotel and unfortunately it will be our last. The rooms dated and have a very strong odor. The service is also very poor. They would not help us get ice or extra towels. The only thing the front desk would tell us is check out is at 11 am be out or there...

We have relatives in the area who were overbooked so we decided to try the Inn. It sits across from a pretty view of Long Pond and the restaurant (lunch and dinner only) overlooks an inlet from Great Pond. Our first impressions were not so good. We arrived in the late afternoon and no one was around to check us...

Over the past 20+ years we have vacationed in the Belgrade Lakes area of Maine 5 or 6 times. We always go to the Village Inn for the duck. This week was no exception and the " bird was the word." It had been 3 years but the food, service and atmosphere continue to be very good. The variety of...

I recently had a wonderful dinner with some friends at the Inn, right after Thanksgiving, and we were all so excited by how much of an impact the new owners have already had on both the menu, and updates to the property. Everyone raved about their meal. I had the sirloin and it was perfect! A few others had the...
