My husband and I stayed at The Jeweled Turret Inn during a weekend visit to see our family. We were greeted by Cathy who was very kind and unobtrusive and accommodating to our schedule. We stayed in the Ruby Room on the first floor which is a lovely but very small room with an even smaller shower. It was immaculately...

Hi Robin, Yes, our first floor rooms are on the small side, but the second floor rooms are very large. I'm so sorry that the shower was small for you folks. We remodeled that bathroom not long ago and put the neo-angle shower with glass doors, it is a lot bigger than the one that was here originally. Since this...

This lovely B&B is a short walk to downtown Belfast. The house is just beautiful. Breakfast is several courses of fresh foods prepared by Cathy (and Carl?). The breakfast table is large enough to accommodate many guests at one time so listening to stories of other travelers is encouraged. Lots of common rooms so finding a place to sit and...

Cathy and Carl have painstakingly restored this Victorian home to museum-like splendor, but with welcoming warmth. My room, Topaz, was quiet, spacious, spotlessly clean, and had an extremely comfortable bed. The three course homemade breakfast was an unexpected delight. All in all considerable attention was shown toward each guest for a delightful stay. The home is in a quiet location...

stayed 4 nights in the fall, very charming Victorian guest house tastefully refurbished and decorated by Cathy and Carl. the large communal breakfast table was brilliant for getting to know fellow guests, we had many laughs and good conversation, The rooms were very clean and tidy, although the nick nacks around the place made a few areas a little cluttered.

Thank you for the nice review. Yes, we do have some collections, and we are trying to send some to new homes.

Our hostess made us feel welcomed. Our room (Amethyst) was sunny and quiet. The bathroom is literally "en suite" and behind a curtained area in the room. Breakfast was multi courses -- all excellent. The common areas are comfortable. Would stay there again.

This was our fourth visit over the last 6 years or so. The inn is always super clean and comfortable. Carl and Cathy have done a wonderful job restoring this home. Somehow the home is very formal, but you don't feel it's a place that you can't relax in. Breakfast is on the fancy side, and is very delicious! Carl...

Thanks so much for the great review! Carl and I really enjoyed seeing you and Kristine, and catching up. We had a beautiful foliage season and wonderful weather, so glad you had a fun stay at the inn and relaxing in Belfast. Always love talking about our pets, don't we! Hope to see you this year!

The house is beautifully restored inside and out, and even though there are a lot of antiques collections inside, the decor never feels overbearing. We were able to view a few of the upstairs rooms before settling into our own, and they all are true to their pictures on the web. Each room has its own charm and all seem...

Thank you for sharing this warm review, we are so happy you had a great stay with us and appreciated our historic inn, and the bathrooms we spent a lot of time and effort designing. Breakfast time is where we try to really spoil our guests more, with delicious fresh homemade food. Thank you for noticing and appreciating all our...

My wife and I have been coming here every other year or so since the mid-1990's. We have stayed in almost every room - we really like the Ruby Room, cozy and comfortable. Breakfasts are delicious and well presented, and the coffee-holic can get a cup well before breakfast. We also like the central location on the coast, an hour...

Stayed in the Opal Room in the Jeweled Turret Inn for three nights. This is just what they describe. A beautiful old Victorian inn beautifully decorated. It truly is a jewel. Enjoyed the stay, the breakfasts and the large table to interact with other guests. Owners helpful and friendly. Would defiantly go again. Good romantic weekend. (It's also a Pokestop;-)

I recently spent five nights in this almost magical establishment. The movie RAGTIME could have been shot here. Every nook and cranny was occupied by some artifact of late nineteenth, early twentieth century Americana. Every time I walked through a common area, I noticed something I hadn't seen before. All this, but with all the amenities the 21st century has...
