This hotel was a wonderful place to stay and a very good value. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and sitting on the back deck eating our complimentary breakfast. It's close proximetry to downtown Belfast was another plus. Definitely a do over.
We used to LOVE The Belfast Harbor Inn. Location is great, service is outstanding….then they decided they would no longer be pet friendly (because of something that happened with someone else’s pet). Every year we call to see if they have changed their mind…we drive by to see if we see dogs being walked, we are SO VERY DISAPPOINTED. We want to go back, but they won’t let dogs in. This is Belfast Maine one of the most dog friendly locations we’ve ever been to. I do hope they have a change of heart. We really would love to go back.
We were traveling around Maine and ended up staying at this hotel and it was wonderful. It was updated and very clean. The staff could not have been nicer. We got a room with a view and enjoyed the cocktails that we bought on our balcony over looking the boats in the bay. The free breakfast the next morning was very good with plenty of coffee and tea. We of course sat outside to watch the view.
This property was very clean and the staff were all helpful and kind. A short drive to Acadia. Local restaurants were fair. Great view of the harbor. Quiet each night we stayed. Breakfast was fair considering the pandemic.
The Belfast Harbor Inn was perfect for our 4 day/3 night exploration of the Maine Coast. A beautiful view of the harbor from our room's balcony and window. The central location to travel to Camden. Less than one hour to Acadia. The town of Belfast is laid back and interesting. The Belfast Harbor Inn is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are well appointed. The pool area is clean and the hot tub is perfect after a long day of hiking and riding. The breakfast is good. The outdoor patios are perfect for relaxing with a view of the beautiful harbor. We will be back.
We spent one night here during a recent tour of Maine and very much enjoyed this property. It was exceptionally clean, nice-sized rooms with good views of the water and balcony if you so choose. Service was friendly and the continental breakfast was very nicely done.
Pride of work at this Inn! Super clean, friendly staff. The breakfast ladies were cheerful and just delightful! Nice view of the water in the back. Our best lodging experience traveling the coast of Maine!
A last minute change of plans had us overnighting in Belfast. We read the reviews about the Yankee Clipper Inn. By 4pm it was sold out they they recommended their sister hotel, Belfast Harbor Inn. What a great find! Newly remodeled with a nice modern touch, that still has a casual feel (think similar to a Hampton). We opted for a king room that faces the road ($40 savings vs waterfront view). Room is large, has a bfast bar type area for refrig, microwave, paper towels, coffee maker & tea. Desk & chair, couch, club chair & table setting area, all very nice. Bathroom nice large counter space, good lighting & hot water. Bfast area is large with multiple tables (grab & go with a nice selection during COVID). There's 5 outdoor tables w/chairs perfect to relax & enjoy the water view. We enjoyed wine on the patio. The front desk staff were courteous, helpful and showed us where the exercise room, heated indoor pool, bfast area & our main floor room location. Belfast downtown is < 2 miles away and offers shopping & restaurants options. We dined at Nautilus, nice. We highly recommend this Inn! …
We were pleasantly surprised by this little hotel just outside beautiful, historic Belfast, Maine. Newly renovated, the room was stylish, comfortable and very clean with a coffee maker, refrigerator and view of Penobscot Bay. Continental breakfast was included and served takeout per COVID restrictions. Staff was friendly, too!
This was the best hotel I stayed at along the Maine coast. The hotel is very new and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well finished. I recommend an ocean view room as they have a balcony and unobstructed view of the water. The breakfast, while somewhat modified due to COVID, had many options, including protein and non-sugar filled options. Staff is friendly and property has nice amenities.
