The location of the Hampton Inn enabled us to walk to stores and restaurants. It was pleasant visually with views of the Kennebec River. We stayed more than one night and we were happy that the room was serviced daily. The staff was generally helpful and friendly.

Hotel's Favourite
I have stayed in a number of Hamptons and have never been disappointed. This was no exception. We arrived way early for our reservation, but they put us in a large room on the fifth floor, all the better to admire the view of the Kennebec just across the street. I say pretty much the same thing in every Hampton review: it's a comfort to know what one is getting; the rooms and baths are spacious, well-appointed, and clean. So reliable. A detail: on the bathroom counter, it's nice to have a soap dish so the hand soap doesn't slither around everywhere. Hampton always provides one (other hotels, take note: it's the little things!)

Where do I Begin ? Shower had soap scum, visible on the walls. Used Band-Aid beside my bed. Yes they have a pool and TUB, would not call it a hot Tub, Can Blow stronger jets with a Straw, No Changing room, or Bathrobes. Breakfast was continental, Eggs Tasted so Fake. Just a big room with one desk and chair, a King size bed ( Comfortable) But worried about how Clean ! and a Hard chair. For Over $ 600.00 For two Nights . Find Somewhere Else to go
