For such a posh hotel it was disappointing that the gym was only open from 700 am on a weekday morning. So I brought my kit for no reason as I had to leave at 730am. Hanging space for clothes was hard to locate and seemed an afterthought to a neat design. Breakfast was decent and excellent cappuccino.

Small room, but well within acceptable limits. King bed, large flat screen, functional bathroom with wall-mounted toilet and corner shower. It's far from a basic, inexpensive, chain hotel. The restaurant and bar are busy at night and there's basic bar food that's better than average. We chose he hotel because we had an early flight and our hotel in Edinburgh...

We enjoyed our stay at this very elegant, super modern hotel. Nothing to look at from the outside but inside a haven of calm. Beautiful interiors, a roaring fire, all the rooms we visited were spotless and the main grill restaurant is superb. The dishes we ordered were cooked to perfection and all of the produce is super fresh and...

Stayed at the Dakota South Queensferry many times and told all friends and family how amazing it is. After flying through the night I arrived at 2pm for check-in and was abruptly told that 'check in was 3pm, come back then'. Not even 1 room was available at 2pm but miraculously they would be all available at 3pm. The receptionist...

We were glad the hotel was close to the airport having had a severely delayed flight with BA. It was clean, modern and comfortable and, although very close to the M9, quiet. Would be happy to use again. Did not try the restaurant. Very friendly receptionist at check-out. Glad there was all-night accessibility in view of our late arrival.

Apart from the dark and very gloomy ambiance of the hotel, it does not offer a shuttle service on the weekend. No indication when you book a room or on the website. A taxi to the airport costs approximately 20 Pounds.

Just back from an amazing overnight at Dakota Edinburgh. My partner booked Friday at Dakota deal for my birthday. We couldn't imagine we were going to have such a great time, whilst checking in we were informed we had been upgraded to a signature suite, we opened door of our room and WOW it's amazing, huge room with separate seating...

It is a big hotel with modern, nice rooms. The room was very clean. Unfortunately the whole hotel is dark, (matter of taste). The hotel is perfect after arriving or before starting at the airport. Driving time from hotel to airport is about 15 minutes by car. Dinner is espensive, but there are cheaper restaurants close to the hotel. Queensferry...

Whilst the hotel is quite nicely set it is in middle of nowhere and a by dark. The breakfast is abysmal with nothing on offer and lame excuse by an unfriendly breakfast manager speaking like a robot and repeating without doing anything about it that they have been busy and that the buffet will be replenished. Not at all te...

Dear JP C, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. I was disappointed to read about the shortfalls you experienced during our Breakfast service on Thursday 18th May. There was a large party tour group in the restaurant at the same time as yourself, and although this is no excuse, the Breakfast team were doing...
