Coffee maker is in bathroom. Coffee/cups above toilet. Hair in sink. Shower full of holes/patchwork. Awful pillows. Bed too soft. Great location for airport with prompt shuttle service. Friendly staff.
We had to evacuate for Ida. Everyone at the hotel treated us very well! The front desk people accommodated all requests. By day 3 the lady doing breakfast knew how many people we had and got our orders ready.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The staff offered suggestions on entertainment and other activities in the area. We had people who treated us like we were family. The vibe was so warm and friendly.
Checked into hotel and front desk clerk never stood up from her chair. When I checked out there was a lady sitting in a chair also. The sofa in the room was dirty with stains on the arms. Looked like mechanics were in the room before me.
This is actually 1 of my 2 “go to” hotels when my family and I visit Shreveport, LA. It’s been for many years. This was the first time that I’ve ever had a complaint about this hotel. My husband and I child were staying there for 2 nights. I always send my husband down to get breakfast for the 3 of us because my son has autism and he tends to act out if he’s in a crowded area or if he has to wait. Nevertheless, I sent my husband own to get food for us and he comes back up and says the lady at breakfast said that we’d have to come down and get our own food. Of course, I’m not accepting that so I go down there and she tries the same thing with me. I told her my son has autism and he would not be coming down, I also told her that I could give her the room number to verify the number of occupants. I would have gotten a manager if necessary. We have been staying at hotels not just Hilton branded hotels for countless years and I never have had that happen. She seemed irritated and was complaining about them running out of food. So, I pointed out to her that this was the first time anyone from my room had come down for food. The crazy thing is that they ran out of breakfast AGAIN the very next only this time they didn’t cook anymore so my husband didn’t get breakfast. The lady claimed it would be about 30 minutes on breakfast yet her and what appeared to be another employee were sitting down eating. They were not accommodating. Luckily for me, O had went down and got breakfast for my son and I. I’ve been a Hilton Diamond member for a few years now which means I’ve stayed at a lot of them. I literally have never seen such rude breakfast attendants. The sad thing is that the breakfast attendants were making the plates so they could have controlled the food running out. My tip to management would be to have breakfast attendants who are warm and hospitable opposed to acting as though they are breakfast wardens. Not sure if I’d be staying here again. Just I’m case management needs to narrow down who were were working those 2 mornings. Our dates were from June 24th through the 26th. Also, I know for a fact the hotel was not at capacity so again, no excuse fir the breakfast issue.…
Nice hotel but don’t count in the free airport shuttle for a quick pickup. The driver literally said he stopped to get a passenger food before he picked me up, delaying his arrival by 30 minutes. I would never ask a shuttle driver to do that! Unbelievable!!
We stayed here for an early morning flight out the next morning. The area is not the best so I was a bit concerned however as soon as I saw the property I felt at ease. It felt safe, clean , comfortable and was extremely close to the airport! I didn’t see the staff because I did a mobile check in/check out and used a mobile key.
2 bath clothes 3 Towels 4 hand towels in a double room. I had a do not disturb sign outside my door. The house keeper knocked on my door and ask were I checking out today. Information he should know or had access to from the front door before disturbing me. First Hampton inn I stayed in that is pet friendly.
Last minute reservation made, but staff was cordial and accommodating. I had a clean room and surrounding area was safe. The breakfast was good. They implemented COVID19 protocol during the serving of meals.
I pulled into hotel around 10pm for the evening after a long day on road. Check in was great and room was given as booked. Host was nice and pleasant. Assigned 4th floor room, when i got to room door it was ajar, knocked and saw no one in room. Room appeared clean with nothing out of place. I searched room, found nothing unusual and locked door for evening. Room was warm, lowered A/C (antiquated unit) although functional. Bathroom was musty with a whirlpool tub I would have never used. Took shower discovered hair on wall of shower. Went to bed, beds met the Hampton Standard of comfort. Woke up early (7am) for departure, no host at desk. Went outside to leave and the host and shuttle driver were smoking dope on the front bench. Hostess went into hotel, driver took off a few minutes later to bring guests to airport.…
