Very close to my job site so I continue to stay here, Just would like a clean comfortable place to sleep. And the rats are on duty after midnight. Raised my rates and got less service. What a coinception!
I stayed at this location last week and was pleasantly surprised. After reading some of the low star reviews, I was a little worried. However, the staff was nice, the room was nice, and everything worked. I experienced none of the issues listed in the bad reviews. I'm not even sure their reviews were for the same place. It's in a great location and is next door to a movie theater. Zip's car wash is close by and they gave me a free car wash. Apparently, they give away 6 car washes a day. There are many restaurants close by. I had a great stay. No complaints.
When I checked into my room, there was hair in the sink, the floors were dirty and you could visibly see stains from when someone sat their glass of water. There were also coffee stains on the desk. I was moved to a somewhat better room but everything was just icky. I had a very important Zoom meeting the next day and I asked if there was a quiet place I could work for about an hour after checkout before I headed to the airport. I was told no because of another meeting that would be in the conference room. They agreed to allow me to stay and the additional cost would be $40. I stayed in my room and while on my Zoom housekeeping knocked loudly on my door 4 times.... DISTURBING ME after I paid $40 to work in quiet. The last person who knocked on my door said put the do not disturb sign out....duh!! I would have if there was one for me to put out sir. The staff was not friendly at all. I told them when I checked out I was disturbed several times and the lady didn't even offer an apology or say have a good day. This is not the hospitality I'm used to getting at Hilton brands. I am shocked that the Hilton name is associated with this property!! Absolutely the dirtiest hotel I visited on my recent trip. I checked in through Hilton Honors and used points and credit card that have still not been returned to me!! I walked into the lobby and it still had Christmas decorations up and it was filthy !! I said "I hop your rooms are cleaner than your Lobby" and the lady said "I wouldn't check you into a dirty room sir". I said I wanted to see the room and she said she would have to personally show it to me and I said "Let's go" We rode up the dirty elevator and walked down the dirty halls to an absolutely filthy room. I told her we would not be staying and she said "I will refund your money and points." Hasn't happened yet..... We left and drove another hour to a Hampton in Longview TX. Shame on Hampton Inn's for not cleaning up or closing down this property in Shreveport!!!!…
Booked a one night stay through Travelocity for a King Studio Suite at Hampton Inn & Suites Shreveport LA. Upon arrival we were told that our Studio Suite was not available. Manager told us we "Should have booked directly with Hampton Inn & Suites not Travelocity" and it was Travelocity's error. We were charged the same rate for the standard queen room as the Studio King Suite. Now for the $200 a night room. The refrigerator did not work. The two lampshades in the room were dirty and beaten up. The bathroom lavatory drain was broken. The shower diverter malfunctioned diverting very little water to the shower head. Had to pause my 10 minute shower to allow the tub to drain before finishing. The toilet paper holder was broken and did not support the roll. There was only one package of coffee in the room for two people. The toilet seat was not cleaned and was soiled. The thermostat controlling the heat/ac was broken. Had to turn on the heat at the wall unit and when the room warmed up had to turn it off manually. The laminated bathroom furniture was heavily marred and worn. The breakfast bar was depleted by 8AM. I will never use Travelocity to book travel and this Hampton Inn & Suite by Hilton was awful.…
Stayed 12 days as it was closest to the job site. They cleaned my room twice. I requested a cleaning every day but no cigar. Thick mold in the shower. If you stay here bring coffee, sheets, toilet paper, Lysol and rat traps.
Rooms are falling apart, very old carpet, bathroom shower head fell apart. Heater so loud you could not sleep. Someone had stuck shower drain hair to shower wall. Also, black mold in shower. For the price, this is a bad deal
I had a billing issue where I was charged twice for the room and the old lady that was working the night we checked in would not even pull up my info to even try to help me.. first thing in the morning I went back up front and a different lady was able to refund me the money that was wrongfully charged in less than 5 mins.. the lady the first night was extremely rude!
We have been Hampton Inn customers for years - for business travel and for family. This Hampton Inn fell far short of the excellent standard that we are used to. Our greatest disappointment was our room that smelled like grease and oil. The towels also had a greasy smell. It is hard to relax in a room that stinks. The breakfast was the worst that I have experienced at a Hampton Inn. The omelets were cold and dry, at 7 AM. Maybe they were from the day before and brought back out today. We travel to this area often. Will try it again. Hopefully next time it will be better.
It was really stinky whe I walked in, but I felt tired so didn’t bother to change room; then I found food residue on the carpet, and stain on my bedsheet was just left untouched. The room was never thoroughly cleaned
