Hotel's Favourite
The room was comfortable and the bed was conducive to a good night's sleep. The walk-in shower was great. The hot breakfast was good, especially the biscuits. They were delicious! Good value for the price. The water in the hot tub needed to be considerably hotter, and the timer to turn the bubbles on needed to be more clearly marked.

I'm not sure if it was an 'off' day or what, but I cannot see how this hotel rates anything other than 1, maybe 2 stars. One for non-smoking, and the second for the front desk. Roaches, bugs in the towels, left over coffee pod in pot that looked a few days old, cracked toilet seat pinching me every time I sat down, constant dripping faucet over tub, are just a few of the pleasantries experienced during our stay. I checked out very frustrated that I spent my hard earned money for this experience.

This place is highly rated and priced to match. I travel a lot and rarely to never leave a "poor" review....but this place was poorly staffed and it showed. I am thankful my car wasn't stolen, our room wasn't broken into, and the heat/ac worked.

The hotel does not give a hot breakfast!! They are still giving out baggies with dog food in them! The big huge girl at the desk was very disrespectful about returning my payment! This is not the place to sleep and the beds are HARD!!!!! You can not reach the front desk in the morning and priceline called with no response!! REFUND ME NOW!!!

Seen better days. Shabby. Dingy. Threadbare upholstery. Chipped paint. Rusted fixtures. Stained carpet. Thin towels. Garbage-strewn parking lot and sidewalks. Stray cats. Worn, scuffed furniture. Sketchy neighborhood. No longer serving breakfast, despite their advertisements.

Stayed here 1 night on business. I was charged for 2 nights. I have to pay second night out of my pocket, then get refund from bankcard. Ihe way my expence reports are done, i cannot just put the one night on my expence report, because the charges are reported my online expense report. This will take my time to correct. Thank you owner, for trying to screw me. I already called to dispute charge. Nice way to treat a diamond member!!!

This was the weirdest hotel room we have booked yet through Choice Hotels. The lobby is nice, the front desk staff were welcoming, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet and clean enough. So, it hit all the necessary points for a decent night's sleep. However, there was an outlet over the desk with exposed wires/no cover. The whirlpool tub is advertised as 2 person. Nope. Maybe two very small, childlike people but it was ok for one at a time. The bathroom had an unfinished wall section across the front of the tub. The access panel for the plumbing was unfinished. There was no shower curtain or bar to hang one from. There was a desk but no desk chair. Breakfast was available but I had to ask at the front desk. It was a brown bag with a microwavable breakfast sandwich, muffin, granola bar and coffee and juice were available. That was more than many others have offered in this time of COVID. Overall, it wasn't terrible, just not what we were expecting.

We have stayed here previously because it is close to Shriners, and the reason we stayed again this time. I will never stay in this hotel again :( Pros: Close to Shriners Cons: • No Breakfast even tho it is advertised and prices have not decreased in spite of not serving food. • Pool IS open, despite Covid, but it was full and of course you can't wear a mask and swim. So full inclosed room, with no masks, yet breakfast is unsafe to be served. • No staff was seen with masks on. • It took us 6 hours, and asking 4 different staff members for a plunger because the toilet was clogged when we arrived. • I think there is a bowling alley in the room above us. Literally 24 hours a day there was running and banging. No kid can have that much energy. Maybe families with children should be kept on the first floor. • The morning of day 2 out of 4 and they took all of our towels and did not replace them. We asked 3 staff members for towels and was informed they were being washed and someone would bring us some. 24 hours later we never received towels and dried off with washcloths. • I gave the front desk clerk my 4 digit code for the discount offered to Shriners patients ($59/night) and was charged full price ($87/night). I'm still fighting these charges to this day. • Room smells musty. • Blood stains on our blankets and sheets. • When there is a 10 second break from the upstairs "bowling alley" the train noise will make up for the silence. • TV is difficult to hear unless turned way up, many channels were so static you could not watch them, and the number of channels is very limited. This list could seriously go on and on but the more I reminisce and think about all the money I'm still out, the more upset I become all over again.

A little below average hotel. We were on a two-way cross country trip. Stayed at a mix of airbnb's and hotels. The price at all of them was in the ballpark of $100. This hotel was at the bottom of the list. Everywhere else we stayed was newer and less tired. Rooms seemed clean enough. Bathrooms were weirdly designed - to me it was like a hotel version of prison-chic. Soulless. If you have to make a stop in Shreveport for a night, I guess this works, but I have to assume you can do better.

This hotel does not support a mask policy. Our staff was not wearing masks this evening and did not agree to wear one when asked. If they don't value your life, then don't give them your money. This is unconscionable.
