Last Frontier is a great company for heliskiing. We enjoyed it so much. Very nice and professional guides, an amazing ski week. First day of skiing we had no fresh snow, with very little snowfall in the former weeks. Still the guides found great lines in the trees. Next day we had a good snowfall and since then every day was even better. Ripley Creek Hotel was very comfortable, but outside skiing special mention for the food. We had amazing dinners, tasty appetizers and great sandwiches for lunch in the mountains.

Great terrain, great pilots and loved the small groups. The Heli never gets old. Conditions were very variable—no pow but fresh tracks every run. There was some “crud”. The guides were very knowledgeable and safety conscious. We had 2 down days (out of 4) due to weather. If you are doing a short (4 day) tour, be prepared for that possibility. Our guide wasn’t willing to engage with guests who did not have experience in the conditions and felt out of their comfort zone. As a result, I would say you need to be a top notch skier with a lot of confidence in crud and variable deep snow.

We appreciate the time you've taken to bring this particular situation to light Linda. While this is an isolated incident, we welcome your feedback. Our Director of Operations is taking a closer look into this particular case and speaking with the guide in question. Certainly it would have been much better to deal with this on-site and we would have been able to change guides to find a more suitable "character" fit. Weather wise, this was a particularly challenging 4 day period. It's exceedingly rare to have two down days in a row. This winter we have averaged less than half a down day per week at Ripley Creek and just under one down day per week at Bell 2 Lodge. Historically, we average less than one down day per week. While this doesn't comfort your particular situation, we are taking all your feedback into consideration so we can continue to refine our guest experience. Thank you so much for your visit.

It was an amazing experience. All well organized. The skiing was the best I ever experienced. The guides made us feel being in good hands. The pilots were real professionals making it possible to ski as much as possible. And the food in the Bell2 Lodge was really good. So, we have already started to plan the next trip and are looking forward to it!

Small groups (4 per heli), unlimited terrain, awesome guides what's not to like?! We were there for a week and had one down day (to be honest it was a welcome relief as we were still able to smash through out vertical and come out with a tasty extra's bill, which was completely our choice) You are very much encouraged to ski as much as you want and you only pay for what you ski which works well. Bell 2 is remote but the travel is absolutely fine and definitely worth the effort. Whilst being remote you don't feel it when you are there as there is a really community vibe there. All the staff are super friendly and work hard to make your stay memorable. Definitely be prepared to be out of touch as the internet isn't great but to be honest you don't really have time to sit around. It's a very social lodge and there is plenty to do pre and post heli. Terrain is great, lots of great tree runs and epic alpine. Would have been nice to do some steeper terrain but the conditions didn't allow, safety is definitely first and you always feel safe with the guides. I'd definitely go again and fear that it may have ruined my resort days forever! Forget the cost and experience the trip of a lifetime.

Stellar review Dan. We appreciate the detailed feedback. You've touched on so many of our unique characteristics. Consider visiting us a little later in the season on your next trip so we can get you into some steeper terrain. Late March through mid-April is generally when we have the best snow stability for steep descents.
