Not too far off of I-10.Tours gather on a scheduled timetable. $10 pp. Tour guide with oration in the down stairs only. Simply an old house with folklore attached. Outside grounds unimpressive. However my spouse would disagree point for point. Her camera picked up an anomly on the grounds that raised my eyebrow. I will try to post to this...

This is an old plantation house with a great tour on the history of the home and it's ghostly residents. A wonderful patio with a fountain and spanish moss hanging all around in the trees. The bed was comfortable although sleep was tentative knowing there might be a ghost lingering around......It was a shared bathroom but we were there at...

I enjoyed everything about this visit. A personal history over breakfast from the owner topped off the trip. The caretaker's cottage was great. We didn't eat at the restaurant there, but I'm sure it's great. I enjoyed being able to get a drink from the bar and taking it out to the courtyard. I will go back and stay in...

We were running a little late and got a courtesy call from the office around 4:45 asking what time we were expected to arrive (since the office closes at 5), they said no worries and made arrangements to leave a key for us providing very good instructions on where to go when arriving. With the key they also left a...

great experience overall, but you couldn't go many places. basically you could only go into your room and some parts outside. not at all what I thought it would be. great staff though!! here's my little story: the staff told us "you will know if the ghosts like you as soon as you walk in that door." well I fell...

I planned a "girl trip" for 6 in March; and we stayed at The Myrtles in the Coco House. It was great and fun and perfect for a group! Then my husband and I came back in April to stay in "the big house," and that was good, but I was less impressed. Overall, I would return to the Myrtles,...

As a paranormal enthusiast of many years, Myrtles Plantation has been on my bucket list. Had the opportunity to make the trip and, while it certainly is nice, it isn't at all what I had imagined for ambience. It's very touristy. We had the Caretaker's Quarters. Upon check in we were asked by several staff where we were staying and...

I remember seeing this plantation on TV on those Halloween Specials growing up and it was great to finally go visit it.The plantation itself is so beautiful and oozes Antebellum splendor. The staff was super friendly and I ended up having the whole place to myself. It was spooky and I even made it a topic on my travel blog,www.jjgiron8.org...

I was excited to stay here and see if I could make if the entire night. We stayed in the General Bradford Suite and it was right on the porch where all of the guest congregate. First, the room was beautiful but the bed was AWFUL. I have slept in luxury hotels, run down crackhead motels, and on sides of...

What a great experience! Everyone was so friendly. It was like stepping back in time. We heard loud footsteps during the night and even caught a spooky picture on the porch outside our room. I'm already planning our next visit
