I recently booked 18 rooms for our biker group. Everyone was very happy with their rooms, the ambiance of the hotel, and the staff was extremely helpful, courteous and fun. A special shout out to Ricky for making the entire booking process easy. The rooms are gorgeous! The only thing I heard anyone had an issue with was water pressure... More

My wife is in a wheel chair and can't stand, so our options are limited. The hotel management worked with a dear member of the city management and lowered the bed even further (just for us!) than normal in the handicapped room on the first floor. This way she could much more easily transfer to and from the bed. Well,... More

Second time here. Our room, second floor at back, smelled of mildew as do the halls. The heat pump did not cycle so we had to turn it off when we got cold and back on when room became warm and stuffy. The constant noise of it made sleeping difficult. And equipment below our room rumbled periodically all night. The... More

The inn was staffed with friendly, helpful people. This bank building was reconstructed into a beautiful, French inspired Louisiana boutique style inn. It was clean and located just about one block off of Front street. They offer a hot and cold breakfast,. There were omlets, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit , bagels, juice and cereal. In the afternoons, complimentary... More

We rode down for the Zydeco festival. They are biker friendly and the gated parking was great. Location was awesome and walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The housekeeping staff were helpful and couldn't have been nicer. The wine and cheese happy hour is a nice touch. Breakfast was fine. The rooms were very nice and the beds were... More

This is the perfect location for walking into town. It's close to everything. Everyone was very polite, and this was a perfectly fine place to stay. It's hotel-like, rather than B&B, and that's what we were looking for. The lobby and web site make it seem much more posh than it is, however. Our room was damp, with a ~very~... More

Came for a family wedding. Staff was friendly but no staff available at night and no housekeeping for part of the day. Lost my key and had to wait an hour until clerk showed up in mid afternoon to get another. There is breakfast on site but it is inadequate for the number of guests. It is routine motel fare... More

We stayed here and unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The room was horrible and boring. They don't use fitted sheets, they just use a flat sheet on the bottom so if you turn over at all everything comes untucked. I would never stay there again, which is sad because they are so close to the main street.
