Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good. The hotel is well maintained. Their staff is very welcoming and caring! The only issue I had was with the low water pressure while taking a shower. Overall the place is excellent value for money.
Clean and close to tours. We booked last minute since we weren't planning to stay in the area. On a Saturday night near the French Quarters. prices of all hotels kept going up. Needless to say we paid a premium to stay here but it was clean. Staff was friendly and our bed was comfy. Breakfast was included too.
Here we are, March of 2022, and this CI is still playing stupid covid games. How stupid you ask? They make you put on rubber gloves and a mask to use the breakfast area…that’s how stupid. Since I am not one to partake in the free morning hotel hog troughs with subhuman troglodytes and usually eat at a real restaurant for breakfast, this wasn’t a big deal for us, just very annoying to see. Hotel guest laundry facility washing machine was dirty and smelled moldy. Service was extremely sub par. I think the next time we come to southern Louisiana we will stay much further away from NOLA in a more suburban area and drive in. We come here to fish and eat primarily so we aren’t in to all that French Quarter Bourbon Street BS so make of this what you will. This hotel could use a major overhaul and DOES not live up to the pics on the Choice Privileges web site.…
This hotel is in a busy hardscabble area across the river from New Orleans. The rooms meet all standards for a good Comfort Inn. The comp breakfast is just fine. I would give it four stars if not for the terrible service. Front desk staff was surly and totally disinterested in helping with check in and out. If you are willing to put up with insulting service this hotel is OK.
My mother and daughter woke up to numerous bed bug bites. The lady was very apologetic but still two days later no call from management yet they tried charging my card again. I’m no looking up the corporate number.
I travel on a budget and the hotel price worked for me. NOLA hotel prices were very high, so I exchanged cost for convenience as a first time visit to the area. I called a Lyft for a short 20 minute ride into the main city for around $20 each way. FYI... There is reasonable parking all over Jackson Square (during the week it’s $13 for the day) if you brought your own car. The hotel is clean, decently quiet and has a good breakfast. Water and cookies are put out everyday and I found the front desk to be helpful about places to eat and go. Dollar Tree is next door. So nice to have for a quick stop for snacks or extra forgotten items, but beware, the store looks like it’s been through a hurricane.... disorganized and dirty. The hotel is set off the road a bit so I felt very safe and did not worry about my car getting vandalized. The room was cleaned daily and air conditioner worked great. I would stay again.…
Great hotel. Near New Orleans. Clean. Spacious room. Very good breakfast. We were visiting New Orleans and wanted a hotel close by. Comfort Inn in Marrero was a very good choice. Staff especially Christie were very friendly. Offered extras. Newspapers 24 hour coffee and a fruit bowl.
Nice clean hotel. Great Customer Service. Breakfast better then Most. General Manager was wonderful with service , connecting with guest. We booked stay and cruise package. Transportation to port was efficient .Parking for trip included . Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Check in was very quick with friendly staff, told if required anything else just ask. Room was large & fresh, had a fridge a microwave as well as coffee making machine. Good supply of towels & toiletries. Air conditioning in room to keep cool, room cleaned each day by housekeeping. Breakfast was help yourself each day traditional American fare cereals, muffins waffles etc. With cooked items rotated daily. Help yourself to tea & coffee in the breakfast room throughout. Also fresh lemonade in the evening in the lobby, fresh cooked cookies. This hotel is over 3 floors, there is ice & vending machines at end each corridor. If you have room above 24 you will here the ice being loaded into buckets.
Quick check in and friendly staff. Hotel was updated and room and bed was comfortable. Free breakfast was very good with eggs, sausages, bread and pastries for toasting, cereals and oatmeal, waffle bar, coffee and juices, milk.
