What a great hotel! It's like a boutique stay, at a much better price. Plentiful breakfast, comfortable, clean room, plenty of amenities and helpful, friendly staff. There are so many things within walking distance, including a nice Mexican restaurant and several dogs. We will stay again.

Hotel's Favourite
We spent 3 nights here and found the property and location great. The room was spotless and the bed and linens were first rate. There are good restaurants, coffee shops and stores within easy walking distance. We didn't partake of the breakfast offerings but they looked good. This will be our hotel of choice when we return to Lafayette.

Great hotel, Great Prices, Great Breakfast. Great Front desk peopel. There was a problem when i got up and started to make my coffee I noticed that all the parts to the coffee maker was missing so I though great no coffee. I called the front desk think i would get the run around. A young man named SABASTIN (sorry for the spelling but management will know who I am talking about) answered the phone and explained that he was the onlyone there but he would fix me up. 5 minutes later he knocked on my door and delivered everything i needed for my cups of coffee. Way to go young man!!!

What a wonderful hotel! Spotless facility. The best free breakfast I have ever had. They have a delicious sausage, egg, potato bowl! Comfy bed. Great location. Courteous staff that had spot on perfect dinner recommendations. We will be back!

On the Saturday of my stay, I was awaken by loud banging on a door in the hallway at around 3:15 AM. It lasted about 25 minutes. It became so loud that I started wondering if someone was banging on my door. When I opened the door, a man in a uniform apologized when I asked what was going on. I then called the front desk twice to complain because they did not answer the first time. The lady reluctantly apologized, said it was Security and that they were "having an issue", and rushed me off the phone as to say "get over it and go back to sleep." The entire situation was handled poorly. Staff was unprofessional and rude and not only in this instance. A couple times, as I approached the unmanned front desk myself and observed others do the same while I was in the lobby, I could see staff members in a glassed-in room behind the front desk appear to be bothered to have to leave the area to come to the front desk to speak with guests. On a positive note, the fruit drinks available in the lobby area and breakfast selection were great but not enough to offset the unprofessional staff behavior and poor attitude.…

I've stayed at several Home2 Suites and they've always been fine, so when this hotel was suggested for a family weekend event in Lafayette, I booked it - two rooms. Overall, this was not a good experience and I would choose one of the many other comparable hotels in the area instead. The good news: The woman who checked us in was pleasant and helpful. She stored our bags until the room was ready along with a couple of gift bags that we received. The room was large with a kitchenette with a full refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave and the room itself was clean. The temperature was easily controlled and mostly quiet. The breakfast was fine - several different options available and apples and oranges were out and available all day. The not so good news: With the exception of the person who checked us in, the front desk staff was not pleasant or helpful. I was unable to get the internet to connect in my room so I went down there for help. The woman at the desk couldn't make it work, chastised me to stay back from her when I tried to show her what was happening on my iPad, and apparently decided she was done with me (even though it still wasn't working), told me to wait a while and see if it worked, and just left the desk and went behind her window without a word. The bed was terrible - so soft and uncomfortable and the linen was very thin and so poorly made that it constantly bunched up underneath and I spent most of the night fighting the bedding to get comfortable. I tried hard the next morning to tighten it all up, but the same issues were there the second night. The walls are also without any insulation at all and I could hear the man next to me snoring all night and could hear the person in the other room urinating. That doesn't include the constant running of kids in the room above me. The family in the room next to me woke up at 4:00a and started their day, and I could plainly hear every word of their conversation. I realize that the hotel can't control what people do and how much noise they make, but a little insulation in the walls and the ceiling would help considerably. The dishes in the kitchen were dirty - not just a little dirty, but lipstick on mugs and food crusted on the silverware. The glass tray in the microwave had spilled food baked on it and looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. There was no soap for the dishwasher. Fortunately, I didn't eat in the room but I did run all of the dishes through the dishwasher (including the microwave tray) to help the next person staying there. I had to go to the front desk for dishwasher soap. …

We stayed there one night from 26 to 27 dec 2022. The hotel it's nice but we had a terrible experience with staff. In the morning my wife went to have breakfast leaving her mobile and room key in the room. As she couldn't remember the number of the room she went to the reception giving the last name and asking for the room number. The lady at the reception in a very unpolite and rude way just answered NO, doing nothing to help her. After a while my wife asked again and she got the same incredible answer for the second time. So she had to wait for me arriving looking for her. We travellot and it never happened to receive this kind of unbelievible treatment! I complained with Hilton but I'm still waiting for answer. As we do understand the inconvenience of what your wife encountered, our staff members are trained to keep the guest safety in mind. While this was indeed your wife's room, the staff has no way to confirm this and what if this was not the case and we gave someone your room number who was there to harm you or someone with you? It is against hotel policy. We looked up the member who was working and we have never had a complaint of this particular agent being rude to anyone, but we have spoken to her. To my knowledge, Hilton has addressed this issue. We do hope that you all will allow us another chance to make this right and know that we were thinking of our guest's safety first. Excellent hotel that's priced well, close to restaurants, shops, etc. My stay was comfortable and it was quiet. They offer a decent breakfast, gym and a pool. It's about 5 mins from US90 and about 15 to 20 mins from I49 and I10. Also maybe 10 mins to the airport.
