The advertising for The Juliet is a lie. This place is horrible. The hotel is rundown. The carpets need cleaning immediately. The furniture is scratched and damaged throughout. The floor feels like you will fall though it. But our room - the worst. Two of our four pillows were disgusting. One had a large blood stain on it and the other was so gross that it looked like it had been soaked in tea. The bed linens were stained and looked like there was grease on them. I don’t think they’d been washed. And our bathroom smelled so bad it made me gag. This place was lovely once upon a time. It’s a shame.

The hotel is fine, if you're ok with no frills (not even a stand for your suitcase!), oldish, a little rundown, stained carpets. None are problems for me if the price is right. Location is very good. Main reason for the low rating is the falsely advertised breakfast (even promise of "hot and cooked to order"). There was no breakfast. Period. The hotel owner and Hotels.com (through which I made the reservation and have requested a refund) continue the false advertising. Otherwise I would have given the hotel at least a 3, possibly a 4 bc the rate doesn't promise anything fancy. But deceit can't be justified.

Spacious and clean rooms. Many bars, restaurants, entertainment and places to visit within walking distance. Close to ULL Stadium for home football games! Nice boutique hotel and good value- wish they had a breakfast option, however, Dwyers cafe' is only a few blocks away! Will stay again when in Lafayette!

I had a spacious room in downtown Lafayette. It was convenient to ART WALK which is why I was there. Blake, who sat at the desk, was super nice and helpful and recommended places to eat and visit. The room was quiet and had a luxurious bathroom with a huge tub. I was very happy in this deluxe room.

Where to start. I REALLY wanted to like this place. The ONLY pro is the towels and the bed linens. The housekeeping staff works so hard and that is noticeable. The rooms are outdated and the carpets need steam cleaning desperately, it looks like a bunch of tweekers bought a boutique hotel and ran it into the ground. Ice machine broken and water all through the hallway , floors rotting out. Every pool chair broken, cigarette butts in the pool, which is a moldy filthy mess. Hot tub half empty. No breakfast , no water , no ice, no vending. the owners/ managers of this place do a terrible job and its SO SAD because its an absolute GEM that just needs polishing. My daughter is attending ULL in the fall and I was hopeful we could make this home base while we visit her so we booked it for her orientation. However, I would NEVER stay here again. They could do so much better and you can tell they just don't care about the property OR the guests.
