Traveling for work with my business partner and my dog following Hurricane Ida. I have never stayed at a Drury Inn & Suites before this stay. Finding any hotel accommodations proved to be very difficult due to the storm. Most hotels were completely sold out for several months due to evacuations and workers coming in to help with the recovery. In an attempt to move closer to Baton Rouge from our previous stay, we were able to secure a room at the Drury Inn & Suites. When I say the room was clean, I mean CLEAN. I felt perfectly comfortable sitting on the floor. The staff, especially Yulanda and Theresa, were notably exceptional. These girls deserve a raise! Pure, perfect, southern hospitality. The property was immaculate. Although I did not use the pool, it appeared to be quite clean. Every morning, an actual hot breakfast was provided. Since the pandemic started, I cannot recall a hotel stay with a free breakfast that wasn't a bagged breakfast with a packaged granola bar or muffin, milk/juice, water and fruit. The breakfast was great and the staff was very personable. We were also given coupons for a free buffet dinner and complimentary drinks at a happy hour and although we did not take advantage of it, it smelled wonderful. Although the hotel was not far from an area that was questionable, the area directly around the hotel was safe. Positioned right next door to a Cracker Barrel restaurant, provided a very well lit area to walk my dog in the evening. If this hotel had rooms with kitchens that were larger than a standard room, we would have continued our stay until our assignment was complete.

We stayed at this hotel on our way back home. We loved it! the daily free snacks and drinks between 5:30 to 7:00 pm are really good, the same way as the hot breakfast. The staff was really friendly. What I liked the most was the cleanness of the room. You can saw the original color of the grout, the vents were clean, and the room was spotless in general. Definitely a family favorite from now on.

Comfortable stay, but overall overpriced. Comparable to newer hotels and updated hotels this was an overpriced stay. Hotel is outdated and the area is sketchy, wouldn't venture out after dark. The only convenience is that Cracker Barrel is located next to the hotel, which is walk able if that is what you wish to do, other than that the surrounding are is run down with not much more available for shopping or dining.

Was traveling for a one night stay in Lafayette. Was very pleased with the stay in this Hotel. From the Front Desk Employee who was so friendly and helpful to the cleanliness of the room everything about this stay was perfect. Every Employee that I crossed greeted myself and work partner. There was a free dinner served that evening along with 3 drinks from the Bar. We did not have the dinner but stopped in for the cocktails. The Manager on duty was working the bar and was very friendly and was making sure that all the Guest were served and happy. The room was a suite on the fourth floor...426....it was spacious. I was very impressed with the how clean the room was and the bedding was so soft. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels that did not clean and have the Customer Service that this location had. In the morning there is a full buffet breakfast. Eggs, sausage, waffles, biscuits, gravy and cereal. It was hot and fresh. The morning Manager was greeting Guest and it was appreciated. I was impressed with everything about this Hotel. Many other Hotels could use this one to train their Employees on how thy should treat Guest. I will definitely stay here again if business takes me to Lafayette and will refer anyone who asks where to stay.

The staff was amazing, the rooms were clean and comfortable, overall I highly recommend this location! I had never stayed at a Drury hotel so I had no idea that there was dinner and drinks complimentary from 5:30 to 7 pm. Love the many pillow options and relaxing bed in the room.
