We have stayed many places in GI and this has to be one of the worst. There was one window unit for our entire two bedroom rental. The futon was sandy, wet, and ready for the road. If the sheets were changed after the last people, they definitely weren't washed. The 15 minute cleaning we gave it before departing was...

Resort? No. A place to sleep after you fish all day? Yes. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the bathroom smelled like pee (I'm guessing from people missing the toilet), the shower door needs to be replaced., the refrigerator is about the same temp as using a cooler... can't adjust the temperature. The AC was okay, but I'd recommend bringing a...

Myfamily and I have stayed here many times. Mark and Sharon are wonderful. All the guests kick in cooking in the downstairs kitchen and share their food. We played music and just visited with the other guests. We purchased shrimp locally and cleaned them, made a huge pot of jambalaya and shared with others. There were 5 of us for...

Good spot for those visiting family nearby. Clean rooms . Friendly owners. I would stay here again. Definitely vet the two bedroom with a porch facing the gulf. Walk to the few places to eat on island.

Cajun tide made me look up the word resort in a dictionary. The act of doing something because no other choices are possible. The main office building is in need of repair. Paint on anything would be a start. The room a/c could not keep up with the room AND bathroom, so bathroom door stayed closed when not in use....

The location is perfect with great views of the Gulf. The owners and other guests are fun! They have a fish cleaning room. The outdoor kitchen is a great place to cook and socialize. Just don't forget your sunscreen!

As this was my first visit to Grand Isle, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Upon arrival, the little beach resort has pretty much everything you need, including dishes to cook with and mini-fridge in the kitchenette. The Tiki Bar was a cute addition in the LR, but sleeping on the bunk beds was rather hard and lumpy. I...

We have stayed here three times now and love it. The owners are so kind and helpful. Very neat and clean. Very easy access to beach. I've had two knee replacements and don't have trouble walking over the levee to get to beach. We will be staying here in July. We rented the one bedroom with tiki bar.

A very nice place to stay. The location couldn't be better!! Walking distance to many restaurants and the local store. The room was spacious and the kitchen we perfect for the cooking we needed to do! We were pleased with the two rooms we had, which were very spacious. The owners were very nice and very helpful. We will definitely...

Love this hotel! Rooms were clean and we'll above standard for the island. Owners were very friendly and extremely helpful with the best fishing tips and hotspots. Fish cleaning room was a major bonus....wouldn't stay anywhere else!
