We got engaged in May of last year and after my fiancé proposed on grand isle beach I had no idea he had a little room for us to stay the night. Mrs. Millie who runs the place was very sweet and had the best rates in Grand Isle. Her place was not fancy but they were clean and she...

Clean rooms minus no toilet paper holder. Wifi is iffy if you stay in the back set of rooms 5-8B. I have personally stayed in 5,6 and 8B. I love the layout, nice and quiet, wonderful view of the bay, very picture worthy. will always stay here when in town. Mrs Millie is the best at customer service, very friendly...

We have stayed at the Cajun holiday probably 8 - 10 times over the last 8 years.. Never had a bad time in fact the last time we were there Millie (the mgr) found out that one of the kids with us was having their birthday while we were there. She and one of the maids decorated the railing in...

It was the only room we could find for the weekend as we booked it on a Wednesday. Pros: Clean, Fridge, microwave liberal checkout policy and the owner. Cons: lumpy squeaky mattress, only one chair, no closet or luggage rack. I now know what fish camp means. I have been in better appointed Motel 6 rooms. No pictures on the...

Although our trip was decent for a grand isle trip, our motel stay wasn't anything special. We had to clean up , do dishes, clean up, which wasn't anything too bad but just strange. But after we had left our friends told us the manager complained about how dirty the place was especially on the floor, but we couldn't really...

We were meeting a guide to do some Grand Isle fishing. Directions online were inaccurate (Do not follow GPS) but Ms MIllie directed us in. She was great. Rooms where typical camp rooms, but exceptionally clean. They definitely know their clients and worked with us to allow us to squeeze in fishing and clean up before hitting the road. Will...

Ms. Mille is really sweet. The check out time is noon but she doesn't rush patrons out precisely at noon. I was here for 2 days and loved my time there, and look forward to going back. I was in room 8B, and the view was neat, I love watching the sunset so it was good for me. My daughter...

We never met Miss Millie during our short stay which, judging from the other reviews, likely would've easily been the highlight of staying in this place. One thing that is important to know about this place is that there is a motel which has maybe 20 rooms and then there are three "camps," which are basically separate units which apparently...

We've stayed at the Motel before and it is what it is a Motel in G. I., BUT the camps are gorgeous!!! Fits lots of people and you can launch your boat/fish right outside your camp. They have 3. Ms.Millie is AWESOME! You are crazy to NOT give it a shot! I highly recommend getting a group of friends/fam and...

The room was spotless and Ms. Millie helpful-- pros. The cons--no closet or even hook on wall, no chair, no bedside table or electric plug,(use breathing machine), no towel bars, no toilet paper holder. For the amount paid this was not a value compared to other places we have stayed. Is Grand Isle really such a resort area in April?...
