My husband and I visited for a weekend trip to the River Road. We enjoyed a wonderful night at Bocage. The plantation is beautifully renovated and our bedroom was very comfortable. We arrived after dinner but the innkeeper invited us to join the other guests for wine out on the patio. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. I highly recommend...

This has been a wonderful experience. Roberto and Amy made our stay so memorable, and we couldn't have asked for friendlier or more accommodating people as hosts. The plantation is so beautiful, and the opportunity to stay in such a living piece of history has been the highlight of our trip. Thanks, Roberto, for all the history and for your...

I would like to thank Roberto for a wonderful stay. My wife and I had a wonderful time. Roberto gave us a great tour with the astounding history of the plantation, the restoration, the previous owners, and the antique furniture. We had a great time sitting on the veranda watching a thunderstorm, drinking wine, and speaking with Roberto. Breakfast was...

This was our first but definitely not our last visit to Bocage Plantation. The house and furniture were magnificent. Roberto made us feel right at home and provided us with all the interesting history of the house and furniture. When we arrived there was a large storm that was blowing in. We were able to sit on the large porch...

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying four days and nights at the Bocage Plantation. We were surrounded by warmth and beauty both inside and out. When we arrived we were greeted by Roberto with the Steinway player piano playing. The plantation is located in a very quiet area and has been renovated beautifully. The interior is decorated...

Our 4 week round tour of the Southern States took us to many and varying lodgings: condos, hotels, B&B's, converted railway carriages, antebellum houses and also Plantation mansions. However our stay at Bocage was the most exciting of them all - a fantastic experience. The house is beautifully restored, the furnishings and antiques amazing and the hospitality just great. We...

We just got back from a one night visit and wish it had been more. The best compliment we can give is that we are already planning our next visit. The house is beautiful and the atmosphere is so warm and inviting. Imagine biting your friends and staying in a perfect room. We stayed in the Red Room and loved...

For my birthday my husband surprised me with a overnight stay at Bocage Plantation Home. We have stayed in plantation homes before for different special occasions. This visit was by far the most enjoyable. Mostly because the home felt "real" not like a museum. It was incredibly comfortable and not at all stuffy, even though the decor was very authentic....

Bocage is a smaller plantation home. Because of this, the experience of staying there is much like it might have been 150 years ago. We felt like welcomed guests in a grand River home. The rooms are luxurious and our inn keeper and host, Roberto was awesome. We are looking forward to returning!

If I had rated Bocage with anything less than a five before it was definitely human error. Bocage and her host, Roberto, deserve nothing less than a "5". We have stayed there multiple times and each time was As memorable as the first. At Bocage, guests are surrounded by an atmosphere of beauty, grace, And relaxation. We have vowed to...
