The lady at the front desk was so nice and sweet she thanked me for being a diamond member she made my stay very nice and comfortable.. I will always pick this hotel every time I stay in the bossier City area because this the next one yet.. please let her know that she is the best I don't recall her name
Clean rooms! Excellent staff! This hotel is conveniently located. Pool is nestled in the middle of a courtyard. Perfect for families. Restaurant and bar on the premises with excellent food and service
Let me begin by saying we’re “Diamond” with Hilton. (Not bragging, just setting up my review.) At check in, we ask where the elevators are, and proceed to, what we thought, was our room. After repeatedly trying our key, we heard a voice say, “who is this?!” Turns out, they share the building with another Hilton property. Seems like the staff could’ve prevented this embarrassing incident. Secondly, we brought dinner to our room. Because we’re quite familiar with this hotel brand, we knew we’d have plates & silverware. Nope. Every, single piece was dirty in the dishwasher that nobody had run. Third, we thought we’d enjoy some pool & hot tub time. Well, the jacuzzi was out of order and, despite it being July in Louisiana, the pool was ice cold. Lastly, we bought a few things at the grocery store for the fridge. Every time we thought we’d closed said refrigerator, I’d walk by and it was ajar. Folks, these may not seem like much to y’all but, when you add it all up, it’s very disappointing. Hilton, you can do better than this.…
The convenience of check in on the app and the digital room key made staying here so easy! Also the size of room for the price was fantastic! 2 bedroom 2 bath with living room and kitchen with dishwasher for a great price!! Would definitely stay here again.
ALL rooms are pet friendly. I am allergic to pet dander and suffer with asthma. I had requested a pet-free, non-smoking room on my reservation, but when I checked-in, they had no such option. The first room was really filthy (stained bedspread and sheets, dirty pillow cases, unswept, and someone’s used medical tape on the bedroom door. The staff person who saw the room was also disgusted), and he moved me to another room that was less filthy. There was food and pet food on the floor and stains all over the furniture. The staff member saw it and said he would report it to management. I never heard from a manager and remained in the less filthy room. Lastly the heat ducts looked like they had NEVRE been cleaned. They were full of thick grey nastiness. My colleagues had a roach in their first room and said it was filthy. They also changed rooms immediately. Also, NO PERKS if you are a Hilton Honors Gold member. I ONLY stayed at this hotel because I was with a group. I will never stay at another Homewood Suites. I am also not one who ordinarily writes reviews. …
We loved getting the 2 bedroom suite. Lots of room for everybody with the living area, kitchen and 3 televisions. Hot breakfast was nice, and we were able to park very close to our vehicle. LSU band was staying there, and we never heard a peep. We also felt that it was a safe location to stay.
Just a couple little fixes and this property would rate perfect. Property: The property is a Homewood Suites on one side and a Hilton Gardens on the other. Check-in is one the Garden side. The lobby is a decent size with an area to purchase snacks, etc. The landscaping needs a little attention but is good. The bar opens at 5 PM. The food is excellent. The pool is outdoors with a putting green available. The business center has four computers in a private area. The fitness center is large with four treadmills, four ellipticals, one recumbent bike, dumbbells, a universal machine and two weight benches. There were no cups for the water. There were no towels. There was a good rubberized floor and one floor mat. Each machine had a TV screen, but I could not change channels. Wi-Fi speed was good at 25/27 Mbps. Staff: Professional and friendly. Price: King Suite was $227 after taxes, etc. A touch on the expensive side. Room: Large. Good mattress. Ergonomic office chair. Sofa bed was one of the most comfortable to sit on. The TV remote must need a new battery; it was not very responsive. There is a kitchenette. The freeway noise was not too bad. The train whistle noise in the middle of the night was loud for a long time. Breakfast: Good size room. Waffles were pre-made. They did n The hoy water faucet in the bathroom leaked. The bathroom sin drained slowly. They did not have grits or yogurt because the delivery truck had not come. Everything else was well stocked.…
Arrived at the hotel late and was placed in a two bedroom suite. After turning on the lights roaches appeared. My husband spoke with the front desk staff who was very apologetic and offered another room. After switching to another room, the sheets were badly stained, so we decided to move back to the original room. All of this to say, the room we were in was out dated, needs a deep cleaning and an exterminator. After speaking with the staff, we were credited for the room and ended up switching to another Hilton hotel in the area. Again, the staff was very apologetic and was great to work, but considering the condition of the room we couldn't stay. If you are traveling with kids and looking for a clean hotel, you may want to check it out first!
Shower was badly damaged. Grout was black. It was disgusting. Rooms could use updating. The lobby area was fine. Care given to that area. They have parking set aside for Diamond members. This adds a nice touch of welcome but please update the shower.
We have stayed here once or twice a year and when we do we stay for a few weeks as we have family in the area. The previous stays have not always been the greatest but they redeemed themselves this stay for sure. The room and hotel was clean, nice staff and very courteous especially the GM and aGM, from front desk Tiffany and Miranda stood out, Anthony in evening reception, Shay in housekeeping and Robert the houseman were stood out to us. Also another thank you for letting us extend our stay! My husband had a medical emergency while we were here too (totally unrelated to the hotel stay) and many employees kept asking about his well being which was much appreciated.
