DO NOT STAY HERE!! I REPEAT…DO NOT STAY HERE!! RUDE RECEPTIONIST!! Booked a KING, NONSMOKING guess what my husband and I got for $147/night…a FULL SIZE BED, SMOKING, HANDICAPPED. Her response “we don’t have anymore non-smoking rooms”. We booked the room on a Thursday (Apr 21)and arrived on Friday(22). Another gentleman was checking in and got the same response “we don’t have any nonsmoking rooms. He told her that he had booked a nonsmoking room on Monday! Soooo, when we booked on Thursday there wasn’t any nonsmoking rooms but you told us you did. LIARS!! ROOM WAS NASTY!! ROACHES!! DINGY/STAINED SHEETS & PILLOWS! REEKS OF ALCOHOL, WEED & CIGARETTE SMOKE. The FLOOR NEEDED TO SWEPT AND MOPPED!! NOISY... Business is next to a busy highway! The only reason we stayed was because there were no rooms available in our price range last minute! I ALWAYS pack sheets and towels when when we travel(this is actually a collection of items that I have had to go out and buy when we travel. It is unfortunate that you can’t get what is advertised). BTW this IS an extended stay hotel. I specifically asked and was told no, it wasn’t. LIARS!!…
The lady that works at the receptionist desk also stays at the hotel. I saw the her use a key and go in another room without knocking. She was not dressed in her work uniform but I thought the room was unoccupied and she wanted to check something. Later I noticed some young men going back and forth in that room when I came back to my room. I was going to extend my reservation but checked out the next day and into another hotel down the street. I work in healthcare and don't need or want anyone going in and out of my room when I'm not there. If you value your privacy, this may not be the place for you.
I stayed here with my husband and newborn for two nights. The entire building smelled like weed. There were shady looking people lurking around outside the entire time. We had cigarette burns on our blankets. No one was at the front desk (8:30 AM) to check us out when it was time to leave. Bad experience overall and definitely wouldn’t stay here again.
There was no lobby: it was an intake room. Felt like there might be security issues, so didn’t feel good about that when checking in. It’s a party place, not a place to spend a pleasant visit. Loud and belligerent folks, and the common areas smelled and didn’t feel clean. The room smelled like stale beer and nicotine. There was no reassuring smell of cleanser when walking through the door like at decent hotels. My feet stuck to the floor. The sheets didn’t smell clean, so there was no way I was sleeping in the bed. The occupants in the other rooms were loud in a range from party to domestic violence arguments. I grabbed my stuff and checked out immediately, found a better hotel to stay in for the night.
booked room for a month at approximately $1200 on woodspring site. immediately started noticing roaches. pest guy came first week, still roaches, told front desk, second week maintenance man came and sprayed, still roaches, maintenance man came end of second week and the pest man came back too. i bought fogger myself, got the idea 1 night when i smelled 1 coming from a nearby room. as a neat freak, i never cook or keep food in cabinets and empty garbage regularly. roaches finally subsided week three. i called 1800, email numerous times and complained, asking for a partial refund. no one ever got back to me about it no matter how many times i requested compensation. the sad thing is the staff is friendly but ultimately apathetic and unsympathetic to a well known problem. lastly, as advertised they only clean room every 2 wks. upon 2 wks. called 2xs and went to front desk to make sure room got cleaned. of course it didn't 13th day went back to front desk asked again upon return to my room it was cleaned meagerly. say it again the staff will smile and give you honeyed words but could care less.…
Well I'm currently staying at the Woodsprings. I think the new charge of $10 if you have to have new keys coded is ridiculous!! Any & everything can happen to your keys to get decoded. First of all everyone does not know that if your key gets next to your cell phone, credit card or car keys then your hotel room key can get deactivated. And this front desk staff does not mention certain important things like that when you are checking in. Second, your key is not even provided with a protective paper sheath to put it in like other hotels. Third, why??? It dosent take that much energy or time to recode a key for guests, they are desk clerks it's their job. 4th I will personally ask you to give me a receipt to show me on my folio that I had to pay $10 extra dollars for a key I already have paid for in the first place!🤔so that means you will use more paper. The elevator is currently down, what a about handicap people? An elevator should always be top, top, top priority at least for them, cause there are so many handicap parking places on property, so how are they to work this out in case of an immediate fire or they just got to leave here for whatever other reason. Both of these issues were presented on yesterday and I think it's foul! A few of the desk clerks need to be retrained, they are not thorough enough. The housekeeping staff, they ok? That's all I will say bout that one.…
My family and I give this hotel 4 stars. As far as customer service Rodney, the manager, is great when it comes to resolving problems if there are any, location is great and they are pet friendly. If you're looking for a great deal come to Woodspring where you can feel at home away from home and amenities are available. Everything is right at your fingertip.
Start off with the construction in room 226 the toilet flap needs to be replaced asap the water is constantly running out . Replace the light bulbs that are burnt out in the bathroom and fix the tub drain. Sweep and mop the floors Daily or leave a broom & dust pan along with a wet jet and a duster and I'll do the cleaning my self . Clean the air filters monthly. Now on to the perks . It has a bed, blinds instead of blackout curtains, range top, full size range microwave, an actual refrigerator instead of a mini fridge, & a kitchen sink for anyone who brings dishes,
chelsy at woodspring suites in Bossier City, La was awesome. She had great people skills. Definitely going back. She made sure i had fresh towels, and I didnt have to ask. The area was around a gas station and fast food restaurants, great place to stay.
They only clean every 2 weeks. The room has roaches and I’m sure it’s because they don’t clean often. I have never been to an extended stay where they only clean twice a month! Disgusting! It won’t be long and this place will be run down.
