An historic hotel, made new inside. Very convenient to capitol, museums, performing arts center and restaurants. Great river views from some of the rooms, although the pool deck is currently under construction.

Wow!! So much fun!! We spent almost 2 hours just on the first floor trying to take it all in. The early history of Louisiana was fascinating to read. The exhibit on the great Louis Armstrong was very well done. Loved the collections of food...More

Very nice, old hotel that has been expanded, renovated, and modernized in the historic area of Baton Rouge. Two blocks to the old state Capitol, a block from the Shaw Arts Center, close to several worthwhile museums, and with parks on two sides, one of...More

The location was fantastic. The balcony has a beautiful view. The only down side was the pool was closed for renovation but it will be wonderful when opened. The resturant was overpriced for dinner but the breakfast was out of this world!

Yes, there are several nice restaurants within walking distance. The area is walkable at night if you are not alone. Also the hotel has a van that will take you to places to eat.

Rick poet nailed it. Yes, there is a daily charge. If your staying for several nights Hilton offers a rate package that includes parking.
