Like many Hampton Inns, this property is aging. It was in good shape, service was excellent, location very convenient. Some road noise, but overall comfortable. Breakfast has remained scaled back since Covid, but coffee, rolls, juice and fresh fruit available. Plenty of parking and hotel appears to be safe. No restaurants within walking distance.
this hotel is right next to the highway easy on and off access to get to anywhere you needed to go. This hotel was very clean and comfortable. Check-in was a breeze. The staff was friendly and always welcoming as you entered or exited the premises. Breakfast was still following many of the covid restrictions and there were limited options. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I would stay here again. The only complaint that I had was that there was a young child who stayed in the room above ours and ran back and forth most of the night. I wanted to call the front desk, but as a mother myself I understand what that's like. I just wish they had better insulation or carpeting to buffer the noise.
This is a nice Hampton that is a mix of rural and urban. Not a lot of development here, except for a Holiday Inn. Few restaurants nearby. Plenty of wooded hills surrounding us. All this with a nice view of Cincinnati six miles away. Front desk was friendly. Beautiful courtyard near the pool. A good comfortable hotel to stay in.
Stayed here for three nights to see my Mets play the Cincinnati Reds. I'm not a fan of staying in downtown areas and prefer just on the outskirts. This place was perfect for us. It's just 10 minutes to the Roebling Bridge and Downtown Cincinnati. We parked at the bridge (Covington) for $10 and walked the beautiful historic bridge to the stadium twice. They had a nice breakfast setup. There is plenty of parking and they have a pool, which we did not use. You can actually see downtown Cincinnati from the parking lot. We would definitely stay here again. Make sure you get a quiet room not facing the Interstate.
The staff was fantastic starting with my call to set up the reservation and ask about amenities. The beds were very comfortable, we had a junior queen suite which I highly recommend, and was less than $10 more a night. Our family of 4 with older teens were very comfortable in this large space for the 3 days we used it. Towels were soft, we were able to control the temperature well. Housekeeping and maintenance were professional and well done. All staff made you feel like family, helping navigate any question or situation quickly and with a smile. Breakfast was good, typical and a little sparse post-covid. All peanut butter had been recalled, so none was available, not the hotels fault. Sausage, hot oatmeal, eggs plus waffles, cereal, fruit and breads were available. Waffles were fun, each iron made 4 smaller waffles and you can control how many you want. Potatoes and other meat options would be nice, but the quality of the sausage was good. No dairy alternatives and sparse gluten free choices, be aware if you need to accommodate these diets. Pool was comfortable and plenty of towels, no hot tub when we were there. Parents can sit in a beautiful courtyard and watch the kids swim if you'd like. Fitness room was larger than most and well kept. Quiet, inside and out. Just far enough away from the city to be quiet and safe, close enough to be minutes from everything.…
Just needed a room for the night for a family get together. Staff was great and the room was very nice, modern and clean! The kids enjoyed the great indoor pool. Typical continental breakfast but it had real eggs and sausage. Recommended!!
Great experience even know it was late at night and was the last room available I was treated as I was the first guest. The room was very clean. The breakfast crew was very greeting and helpful. The front desk staff at night was extremely helpful and efficient as well as morning staff. We would most certainly use this facility again.
Stayed here for a weekend of Reds baseball. Very clean, and an incredibly friendly staff. The beds were very comfortable, and this Hampton Inn has a few rooms with two queen beds AND a pull -out couch. Perfect for three guys in a room…..BTW, it’s a 10 minute, $17.00 Uber ride to Great American Ballpark……
The staff here at the Hampton Inns/Suites in Wilder, Kentucky have become like friends over the years. I look forward to staying not only because they make me feel welcomed, but so I can see them again as well!
Had a lovely stay with my family While visiting the Newport Aquarium. Linda, and Olive (Hope I got their names right) at the desk were very helpful. The facility was clean, and all the amenities were top notch. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
