We loved our time at A Storybook Inn. Elise was a wonderful host as well as chef. The rooms are lavishly decorated, and yet they still have the little convenient touches, such as docking stations by the bed and on the desk and heated towels. The grounds are lovely and we were encouraged to enjoy walking or sitting there. The...

Janet and I have stayed at a lot of B&Bs over the years and always put them in one of 2 classes those we'd go back to and those we wouldn't but now I have a third and that is those we can't wait to go back to. We stayed in the Gone with The Wind Room. Awesome. Very quiet...

We stayed here for two nights while attending a seminar at UK. It was wonderful. Elise the innkeeper and her staff were great. The breakfasts were wonderful and the Inn was top notch. We're recommending it to all of our friends and we'll be back for sure. Don't hesitate to stay here.

Elise has created a truly epic experience for guests and a perfect place to get away. From curating her breakfasts and snacks to meet strict dietary requests to her warmth and advice on local spots to presenting local foods and sweets, she truly is the best hostess. I would say the best B&B experience I have ever had and en...

This was a fantastic inn close to Woodford Reserve, Wild Turkey, Four Roses distilleries. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with each one having its own personality- we stayed in Casablanca. Common areas are spacious with plenty of games, books, and movies on property. Plenty of parking- grounds and house were immaculately clean. We loved the attention to detail...

From the moment we arrived and were met by Elise, to our final chat while turning in the keys, this amazing home felt like ours - yet at the same time, like we were at a resort. rooms, food, surprise sweets, decor, and that home-like feel - Elise understands customer-focus, but this experience is made possible because she simply lives...

Searching for a B&B near the Bourbon Trail in Kentucky, we found A Storybook Inn in Versalles. We planned to stay two nights, but couldn't resist a third night so we could savor the Inn, the wonderful breakfasts, and the area near Lexington. We did enjoy two area bourbon tours and a tour of the nearby Keeneland race track (it...
