The proprietors are friendly and serve a fabulous breakfast. The accommodations are comfortable. We stayed in the main home on the second floor. There is also a separate "cottage" that we would likely try to stay should we travel that way again. There are lots of early american knick-knacks as the theme of decor. There are notable restaurants in town...

Very nice historical Circa 1795 home. Beautifully decorated, Tim and Annette very gracious and accommodating. Primitive decoratng and lovely colors and great collection of reading material and the scones were delicious!

What a lovely place! We celebrated our anniversary in this wonderful villa and had an excellent experience. The hosts are lovely people and the ambience is gorgeous. If you plan on being in the area plan on putting this place on your list. Can't say enough about Scottwood. Truly awesome!

If I'd planned my trip better, I would have arranged to stay at Scottwood Bed & Breakfast for more than one night! It was welcoming, comfortable, immaculate and the true definition of hospitality. The guest cottage was something out of a storybook. As I entered the spacious room, my eye was immediately drawn to the massive stone fireplace surrounded by...

I have been staying at Scottwood Bed and Breakfast for many years. The hosts, Tim and Annette have become good friends since my initial stay. They are very welcoming, treating guests as family. The historic home is full of charm. Located in one of the best areas of the Bluegrass region, it is close to Bourbon Trail, horse farms, Keeneland,...

My wife and I stayed at Scottwood Bed and Breakfast for three nights while visiting with friends in Midway and checking out the bourbon trail. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. Tim and Annette were so welcoming and gave us lots of information about the area. Their dog Ginny also greeted us warmly and was very cute....

As a frequent bed and breakfast-flopping traveler, I’ve left feedback for most of these establishments, nearly always happy to relay my experiences about the pleasant surroundings, the friendly innkeeper, the competent service. My stay at Scottwood Bed and Breakfast made me realize I’d settled for, and been happy with, average. This B & B is simply outstanding in every aspect,...

We enjoyed our stay at the Scottwood Bed and Breakfast. It had a charming home-away-from-home feeling. Our host was gracious and extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome in the Lexington area. Everything was comfortable. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

We had the very spacious upstairs suite which allowed me to read and leave my husband to take a nap, undisturbed. Annette and Tim were very helpful and fun. Annette's cooking was just terrific and she told me about a great mill to visit. The bed was firm and so the two nights there meant we had some wonderful sleep....

Our recent stay in the Carriage House at Scottwood was nothing short of wonderful. Our visit was during the Polar Vortex so one of my "must haves" was a fireplace. At the foot of the bed was a comfy loveseat perfectly situated in front of the fireplace. Boy, did we enjoy winding down at the end of the day warming...
