We didn't stay at this hotel but we had lunch at J Grahams cafe. We all had hot browns and had a wonderful time. Great food and great service. The gift shop is cute and they have an art gallery with beautiful horse paintinbe. Would highly recommend!

The Brown is a history museum and hotel in one. All of the staff were pleasant. We were passing through and enjoyed a leisurely evening in the opulent lobby bar area and a fine meal at the hotel restaurant, the English room. Our room was clean, plenty big, and had more character than a chain hotel. Parking note: a hard...

I cannot say enough good things about The Brown. The location gives you lots of easily access to local attractions. The staff is lovely and could not be more helpful. The property is amazing. Staying in such a beautiful, historic hotel makes being way from home so much nicer. The rooms are not all the same - so much better...

The hotel lobby was outstanding they have done a fabulous job restoring it back to its former glory. We stayed on the 12th floor which is the Club Level in a Club Deluxe room. Though the room was nice we thought it wasn’t anything special, just your typical king room. The Club Lounge was nice to have, it was just...

We could not have been more pleased with the club floor. Though there was a large convention staying in the hotel, every request and whim was treated as a top priority from bell staff, desk staff, housekeeping, dining facilities staff, etc. The Old South hospitality and warmth was notable everywhere. After "over-purchasing" in the gift shop, I was immediately offered...

Perfect Hotel to spend a weekend in Louisville with my wife. The hotel is simply beautiful, excellent service and outstanding restaurant and bar area. We had the opportunity to talk with Agustin Sosa, in charge of Food in the Hotel. Great professional. I strongly recommend the brunch and the restaurant. Best Hotel I've ever been. I really spend a great...

Upon arrival I had a 10 minute wait to get my room that was prepaid. (Note: beware when calling to make reservations; be sure you are contacting the hotel. There is a 3rd party number out there that is charging $7 to make your reservation. They are not associated with the hotel.) When I received my room I had to...

We made a reservation for a club floor room. Upon arrival we could see that there was a large group at the hotel (Sons of the American Revolution). The room we were initially given on the club floor was right next door to the club room. The problems we had with this room were that (i) you could hear people...

This hotel might be a bit too classic for some. It is like stepping back in time. For me, I thoroughly enjoyed how authentic it was. There was a quiet serenity to the hotel and the location is a few blocks from the main tourist area. Beyond the rich woods there was a genteel service level, but that could also...
