Loved the ambiance of this beautiful old hotel. The service and people working there were all very helpful, informative and pleasant. The room was large and clean. I felt comfortable letting our 13 year old grandson go to the lobby, gift shop, etc.

I can't say enough about this hotel. The lobby and public areas are lovely, the staff was attentive and friendly, the 10th floor room was perfect. It was an easy walk to 4th Street Live. I was truly shocked at the low price of the room...$159 + taxes, I would have paid twice that and still felt OK about the...

Our room was quiet and comfortable. The service from the staff was prompt and friendly! One nice touch: we played a game of chess on the third floor overlooking the lobby - how calming! Don't miss the bourbon menu at the bar. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for two nights, and are really glad that we "splurged" on staying in this hotel. The room was nice and spacious. The bathroom was almost as big as the room. Definitely a hotel we'll be booking another stay at the next time we are in Louisville. We found that keeping the bathroom door closed at night kept...

We ate at the first floor cafe and had their famous Hot Brown. It was absolutely delicious. Because we're a little older, we asked them to split an order and it was plenty of food for us. Service was outstanding and the cafe was lovely. When in Nashville, eat here.

Stayed over Christmas, and found the staff very upbeat and gracious, from the extremely helpful and welcoming doormen to the gracious front desk staff, to the wait staff at the first floor restaurant where we ate more than one breakfast. The place was spotless, the food was good, the bed was very comfortable and the ambiance was lovely. If I...

My third stay at the Brown and I can't imagine staying anywhere else while in Louisville. Love everything about it - but I do wish the gift shop would be open more hours. I've never been able to get in there to browse as it is always closed when I'm there. Too bad.

Hotel is very clean. I am clean freak and didn't find anything wrong in the room. Parking is adjacent to the hotel $16 whole day but if you plan on going in and out then $20 at front desk and they will stamp your ticket. Every time you leave you have to turn in your stamped ticket. When you return...

Came into Louisville for only one night 'turnaround ' trip from Las Vegas. We had risen ~ 4:15 PST and were suitably exhausted. Adam B. - shuttle driver was pleasant, efficient and a great personality! Even though the ride was a mere 10-15 minutes, he was a great " welcome" for the night! Pat in the Club Room was totally...

Enjoyed everything about the stay from the service to the drinks. The bar was a bit crowded, but still didn't have any problems trying a bourbon sampler. The lobby alone is great and the Hot Brown was as good as they say!
