Believe all the rave reviews for this place, they are well deserved. Fantastic house with superb restorations done to a very high standard. Very welcoming on arrival and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are top quality, with very comfortable beds and the cleanliness could not be faulted.

What a find! An absolutely charming Victorian B&B in a perfectly central location in beautiful Old Louisville. Keep in mind - it's completely remodeled with all updated amenities. However, the building is a historical gem with multiple common areas and a private courtyard and patio. Furthermore, it's close to everything: downtown, Bardstown, and Churchill Downs. We had drinks and a...

We have never stayed in a B&B and decided to book one for our 25th wedding anniversary. I'm really glad this was our first experience. It was perfect. The home was beautiful and very elegant. Our room was tastefully decorated and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The breakfast was great. Each day we had...

We stayed at this B&B during a recent sightseeing trip to Louisville, and we were very pleased with the experience. Our warm and welcoming hosts were intimately knowledgeable about the city and provided excellent recommendations of places to check out while we were there-- in the neighborhood and beyond. The property is immaculaetly kept and the room was everything that...

The Rocking Horse in one of the most beautiful bed and breakfast locations I have ever seen. Right on the edge of historic Louisville, KY, it's a Victorian house that has been refurbished with all the comforts of home and then some. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Each time I've stayed there, I've longed to spend more time...

Everything the previous poster said is true - this is a great place to stay. Wonderful, friendly hosts, beautifully-presented, delicious breakfast - even though I was the only one there that morning, they took no short cuts! I stayed in the Irish Rose room, and enjoyed relaxing on the little balcony reading a book. Perfect end to a busy day....

We love staying at the Rocking Horse B&B! We have been there several times to celebrate our anniversary or to just have a night away from the kids. The owners are amazing! They greet you by name and send you home with a hug. They instantly make you feel right at home and are a great source for all things...

My wife and I stayed in the Sellinger anniversary suite for a weekend and we enjoyed it very much. John and Ricardo were very helpful with stuff to do in L'ville and accomodating. The room was clean and John gave us a tour of the house, which was beautiful. The breakfast was excellent as well. This is definitely worth a...

I am a little reluctant to write a positive review about the Rocking Horse Manor for selfish reasons. If everyone knows about how great of a place Rocking Horse Manor Bed & Breakfast is, we may have a hard time getting reservations in the future. To start with the mansion is absolutely beautiful in structure and décor. It has a...
