I had a last minute family funeral and looked for a place online. I called and Steve was more than accommodating. I arrived and was greeted warmly and with all kinds of goodies and cookies. The room was large and had every amenity. The bed was so comfortable and the linens were great! I can not tell you how amazing...

Our first time at a bed and breakfast and the experience was wonderful. The pictures don't do justice of how beautiful, clean, and relaxing this place is. The owners were very welcoming and kind. The breakfast was amazing!! We had everything we could need. We will definitely return!

We recommend this B&B to anyone staying in Louisville. It is located on a large wooded lot conveniently 15 minutes east of Louisville. Our room had everything we needed including robes. The breakfasts were excellent with a different presentation each day. The B&B is early American. There were snacks and drinks available. Devona's restaurant recommendations for 3 dinners were all outstanding....

My sisters and I chose 1840 Tucker House for our mother's 80th surprise birthday party after touring the house and meeting the lovely and warm innkeepers, Devona and Steve Porter, and couldn't have been more pleased. They took care of our every need and both the food and accommodations were perfect. We enjoyed catered appetizers and homemade cakes prepared and...

Five stars just doesn't do this cozy, romantic inn the justice it deserves. I selected a night at this inn (after extensive research) as a Christmas present for me and my ladyfriend. I thought we would take a night in Louisville, have dinner, and stay at a comfortable bed and breakfast. The Tucker House is a wonder. It's a beautiful,...

This little gem is tucked away just outside of Louisville. Short trip (15 minutes, no traffic) into town on any givien day and centrally located to other attractions. The landscaping is beautiful with plenty of outdoor seating. We stayed in the President's room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spacious. The breakfasts are out of this world....

We were fortunate to stay at Tucker House during Derby week and the hospitality of the owners was amazing! The house is beautiful and inviting, with plenty of space for privacy. We enjoyed many wonderful homemade southern meals at Tucker House, not to mention a few mint julips and bourbon! We went with another couple but also made friends with...
