My friend and I were a little skeptical when we pulled up to the hotel. The exterior looked out of date and slightly run down. When we went to check in we found the lobby to be clean so that was a little relief. However, while checking in another guest canceled his reservation and said his room was "horrible". While my friend checked is in, I went to check the room. The clerk told us it didn't matter if we got the room or not, there were no refunds. That was discouraging. Luckily I found our room to be clean and surprisingly updated.

We got a good nights sleep and the location was great for Yum Center.

We were surprised and a little pissed to find out we had to pay $5 for parking.

Definitely good hotel for an overnight stay.

Great location and really nice renovated rooms.

Only a couple of blocks away from the river and across the street from the convention center. Close to 4th street live .. only a couple of blocks.

Outside of the hotel is nothing to look at .. really dated but the rooms are very nice. Friendly and helpful staff. The "deluxe" continental breakfast was anything but deluxe .. that is my only complaint.
Good deal on a room ...$66 for a king suite. Recommended.

Rooms as expected. Bland. Need some maintenance. TV remote has issues. It worked partially. AC and water temperature good. No issues. Lots of parking available. Food options are around. Reception was there... But when I called 2x...no answer

First, they charged us $15 for canceling, giving a credit. We tried to book with the decreased credit, 4 days later, on a Thursday. Then, they raised the price from $108 to $150, before taxes and fees. All their Inflexible rules make it senseless to rebook with them on the one time we will ever be passing back through towards Minnesota. It’s all a scam. Save yourself a hassle and save yourself money by choosing someplace else’s to stay.

Run down, extra charges-parking though huge empty parking lot. When asked why since we have no refundable room-because concert nights small filled. Homeless at entrance. Nonsmoking room smelled like smoke. Ok room, cheap linens. Desk help not friendly. Believe we should of stayed different hotel or better Airbnb.

We booked non refundable and hour from the location. Ten minutes later our car broke down. Standing on the highway in a downpour rain the front desk refused to cancel for me, telling me I’m not the first person with a problem. She refused to call the manager.

Not a great hotel and not a safe experience. Our room smelled of marijuana and mold and feces. The room STANK! Rm 109 I stayed 2 nights and both mornings woke up stuffy, runny nose and sore throat. Once away from the room air, this cleared up! MOLD?? Something in the room! The floor was dirty. If you walked around barefoot your feet would be nasty! There are homeless people congregating all around and in the parking lot of this hotel. This hotel was cheap and convenient to downtown but it is "cheap" for a reason! Not safe to walk around after dark outside! Be careful if you stay here and watch your surroundings

My brother came to Louisville to see family he hadn't seen im a year. He paid for parking at hotel and his car was towed by rental agency hotel has contract with. The hotel was not helpful. The tow agency did not respond to meeting him at lot to get his car released. The hotel was of not help. Two other guests had their cars towed the same night who had also paid for parking.

Older property that covers it's warts pretty good. Resonably clean. But, a property allowing open drug use, right next to the office, characters roaming the parking lot just didn't feel safe. Thought it strange that a three story property occupying halk a block had only 12-15 guests a night. Breakfast options, yougart and cereal. That said , friendly employees.

First, we we're not sure about the neighborhood but everything was fine... Conveniently located downtown Louisville, within easy reach from the Interstate... Perfect place if you are on road trip and want to spend a day in Louisville... walking distance from KFC Yum center,
Louisville Slugger Museum and Blue Grass Brewing Company (try the Bison Burger)...

Now for the room.... Clean, good air conditionning, updated furnitures, complimentary parking, internet and breakfast (don't have high expectations on this one)... Value is tough to beat... Highly recommended, loved Louisville...Go Cardinals!!!!
