My husband and I stayed here as we were touring Lexington for bourbon distilleries. I had booked thinking that it would be not as nice as the other bed and breakfast we would stay in Bardstown, however I was very surprised to see the whole place had been renovated. The place was beautiful from the rooms to the scenery of...

I stayed at the Inn on my way to Asheville for my daughter's wedding. The grounds were so beautiful and relaxing. I know nothing about horse racing but I appreciated the beauty of the horses. The decor and furnishings were top notch. It felt a little weird being the only guest (Monday night) but I appreciated that Jason told me...

We had a two-night stay, wanting to be close for a tour of a horse farm and for the Bourbon Trail. It was perfect for both. The main house has been recently remodeled and they did a great job. It is very comfortable. We had the run of the house - including a bar with liquor and sodas as well...

Our group of 3 adults stayed for 2 nights. It must be famous as the newspaper was doing a photo shoot while we were there. Completely remodeled, modern in every way, but classic elegance. Start with the grand piano, horse photos, horse decor, and end with rain showers and big screen tv's. We had the run of the house, to...

We had the NICEST stay at Swann's Nest (now called Eighth Pole Inn). It is quaint, clean and beautiful. It is so peaceful and we loved watching all of the beautiful retired racing horses on the lands around the farm, and enjoyed petting them in the barn. We also loved the property's little rescue dog, Scruffy. Everything was serene and...

Other reviews have already raved about the rooms, grounds, and decor so I'll just add that there is a billiards room available for guests to enjoy, that -along with a week old foal - were unexpected bonuses. The Inn has gone through a rebranding just within the last few days (it was Swann's Nest when I stayed there last Thursday)...

Swann's Nest (now 8th Pole Inn) was beyond anything my husband and I imagined it would be. Our room, newly renovated and beautifully decorated to look like an upscale hotel room, overlooked a pasture full of mares with their new babies, frolicking in the field. The entire inn, inside and out, was beautiful, peaceful, immaculately clean - a complete pleasure....

We are back for the third time this year and Swann's Nest had gone through their renovations. It is now completely amazing! Last year, when Jason told us they were renovating, I did not expect them to renovate everything! All the bedrooms received a facelift. The kitchen is absolutely amazing. If I had a kitchen like Swann's Nest I would...

Excellent in all respects. Kim Kennedy and I were there for Rolex in 2014 and this year, and have booked again for 2016. Meanwhile Ill see if my husband and I can spend a night there on the way back from Williamsburg in the fall. Tamara Mitchell

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights to enjoy the races and some touring in the area. We were greeted by Jason (the innkeeper) who was very hospitable with great tips for our vacation. The other owners were here from Canada as well and are truly fantastic, fun people! The Inn itself has undergone a huge renovation, so...
