My husband and I can't say enough good things about the Pillow and Paddock Bed and Breakfast. We were greeted by our gracious host Bjorn upon arrival. He gave us a great tour of the house and the grounds and made us feel very at home. The privacy that we felt was very much appreciated. It was so peaceful and serene to be there. We were very relaxed. It was close enough for us to venture into downtown LaGrange for a wonderful dinner. We enjoyed a dip in the hot tub to end our evening. They provide everything from plush bathrobes to warm towels provided next to the hot tub. Every attention to detail that we absolutely loved. The next morning our breakfast was wonderful. The dining room reminded us of a classic American dining room (think Mt Vernon or Monticello). Just beautiful! The food was absolutely delicious. Bjorn set it up for us to feed the pig (Mr. Pig) and horses which added to the experience. We can't recommend this place enough. We look forward to returning!…
The owners are awesome! Their place is beautiful and clean. Topnotch from the land the property sits on to the hospitality they give. The breakfast was spot on and plenty to eat. If you had leftovers you could feed Mr. Pig. They even provided peppermints to feed the horses. They had a hot tub and a outdoor fireplace. This is a place that I will tell all my friends about. Don't miss this gem!!
What a charming B&B. We stayed in The Gatsby Room, which was decorated like something out of the 20's. We had a chance to peek in to the other rooms, each one is decorated in its own unique and charming style. There is a break room with free water, soda, snacks and coffee, as well as a lot of games, books, and DVDs along with a DVD player you can borrow. Breakfast was really good, they served a really good variety, and plenty of it. The (private) bathroom was well stocked with plenty of towels, shampoo and conditioner, etc. And, you are only a few miles from downtown La Grange. I would not hesitate to stay here again, next time I am in the area.
We had the absolute most relaxing weekend! The owners were very helpful, respectful, and generous. The breakfast was amazing!! The added roses, chocolate covered strawberries, heart shaped cakes, and wine for valentine's were a delight! From the hot tolub to the fire pit and everything in between, it was all a great. We were made to feel right at home the whole stay! We will be back!
A beautiful B&B, clean inside and out. Manicured grounds with a Jacuzzi to relax, horses, dogs, a pig and even chickens on the outer grounds with access to pet or feed the horses, Mr. Pig and the dogs. Inside was very clean with all the amenities you would need. Very accommodating, gracious and a pleasure to converse with were the owners. They were always available and would go out of their way to assist with answering all questions and would assist you in finding a place to eat to places of interest. 10/10. Would definitely return and recommend for a great get away.
I can’t express how happy I was to finally step foot in this charming, clean, and cozy B&B. After a long road trip from Colorado, it was exactly what we needed to unwind; from the chilled bottle of champagne waiting in the room to the giant king sized bed that let us catch up on our much-needed sleep. The owner and staff was welcoming and accommodating to my dietary needs, and the grounds were immaculate which let you soak up the beauty of Le’Spirit. Thank you so much to Francesca for giving us an amazing tour and a lovely memory me and Jake will cherish forever.
This was our first B&B experience and we had an outstanding stay for our anniversary and Derby weekend. It’s a beautiful property and the owners are wonderful, warm and gracious hosts. It exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was delicious and the service and attention to detail were great. The house is cozy, and our room was very clean, quiet and very comfortable. There’s also a wonderful “guest lounge”, that everyone has access to where you can help yourself (24/7) to coffee, drinks, snacks, games, etc. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch by the gas fire-pit (with beautiful, comfortable seating) each evening, with lovely views of the pasture, creek, and sunset. Highly recommend staying at the Pillow and Paddock!
My husband and I had a wonderful getaway from Nashville last week and we LOVED The Pillow & Paddock. The owners are incredible kind and attentive and everything was just perfect. The house is incredible and cozy and we both slept well. Breakfast was DELICIOUS and they were so kind to cater to our picky plant-based diet. I can't say enough good things about this experience. THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who made our stay so nice!
My best friend & I came down to LaGrange for a few days to celebrate my birthday & for a short 'getaway' from all the election stress! We have traveled extensively over the years, lived in England for quite awhile and this was honestly one of the BEST B&B's we have ever stayed out! The grounds are spacious & meticulous and the guests (Francesca & Don) were two of the most accommodating hosts we've ever had. We stayed in the 'Gatsby' & the 'Nantucket' and everything was perfect. Clean beyond belief, luxurious bed linens and all have access to a 'guest lounge', where you can help yourself (24/7) to drinks, snacks, games, etc. They have taken extra precautions with the Covid virus to make sure everyone is safe. The breakfasts were served in a gorgeous dining area, and the menus both days were fantastic. (Francesca does all her own cooking/baking). The current owners have sold the B&B to move out of state. So 'Michelle' is now the new owner and she proved to be every bit as wonderful and accommodating. We definitely look forward to returning to this lovely B&B. It is truly as wonderful as the pictures indicate. Do yourself a favour, and book at this B&B when in & around the area! :)…
I'm going to save you money...do not go to this Bed and Breakfast. WE went and was not invited in by the owners. Actually the owners were not there. We we told they were out with some people that were going to buy the place. The room is very small and there was luke warm water for the shower. We did not get breakfast because we had to leave by seven. We were told by the kid that let us in the owner told him she would give a us a continental breakfast. Well at a hotel they start a HOT breakfast at 6 in the morning. Now we were the only paying people there. I guess she could not get up. in Instead the owner left us a bag with a rotten banana two oranges and some kind bread and told us thanks for stopping by. You are better off going to a hotel with the price we paid for this room. We will never go to another bed and breakfast again. This was the first and the last for us.…
