A magnificent house in a superb estate on the banks of the Vézère
Thank you to the two young girls in charge of maintaining the rooms and breakfast, who are extremely friendly, available and professional.
Located less than an hour from all sites such as Sarlat, Collonges-la-Rouge, the Padirac chasm, the Causse lake and many other nature walks, you will appreciate on your return from visit, the calm of the site with the only disturbances being the noise of the river and the cry of the ducks
You may have the pleasure of meeting the owner of the place and sharing with him some experiences from his countless travels.
I highly recommend you

This is one of the best small hotels we have stayed at in France. A truly wonderful location, clean and tasteful rooms, friendly and sincere hosts - it was a great stay that I would highly recommend to anyone,

Out of the 10 stops made during our road trip of France, this definitely stood out as the best in every single way. We had no idea what to expect and picked the B&B purely based on location which broke up the last leg of our journey to Paris. It was just perfect. The house is simply beautiful - tastefully decorated throughout and set on the banks of the river giving a stunning outlook. Our two-bedroom apartment suitable for families was light and spacious and had everything we could possibly need with a beautiful view of the river through a large balcony window as well as the view of the pool through the two side dormers. We were made to feel very welcome and spent a lovely couple of hours round the pool before having drinks on the terrace overlooking the river as the sun set. The whole place is very informal and you are able to make use of the facilities and grounds - eat and drink where and when you want. There is an honesty bar which is well-stocked and we brought in some bread and cheese for the evening. The breakfast was exceptional and very reasonably priced. Many thanks to Suzette and Pia for making us feel extremely welcome and very much at home. This was definitely the holiday highlight and we wish we could have stayed longer. We'll be back!!

We stumbled upon this place thanks to Tripadvisor and were so happy with the results. We booked a double room and were upgraded to a suite. The suite was on the ground floor, which as you're traveling through France, you come to appreciate.

The Swedish/Dutch (?) owners were so helpful and accomodating. They allowed us to use the hotels washer/dryer to launder our clothes. Much needed after traveling for 2 weeks.

And.....they had a communal refrigerator that dispenses ICE!!!!!! Yes, finally a cold drink! The room also had a range, bar fridge, a hot water kettle, toaster and basic pans and utensils. It was so nice being able to scramble a couple eggs for breakfast.

There was a fox (?) hide on the floor which I hated, so I kicked it under the bed but beyond that, everything was superb!

Stayed here in December 2015 with Fantastic sunshine and very warm hosts. It was a great chance to get away into the French countryside and relax. The room had an amazing balcony with a view over the river. I would happily stay again!

We absolutely loved this place. The building is beautifully and tastefully decorated and restored and caters for pretty much your every need with one major exception - air conditioning. Being in an attic room when it is 35 degrees outside without air conditioning is a wretched experience, no matter how lovely the decor. We were forced to leave the windows open all night and, because we were overlooking a river, we were absolutely mauled by mosquitoes by the morning.

It just seems such an obvious oversight in a hotel which obviously prides itself on its aesthetics and service to not bother installing air conditioning. And unfortunately it is an oversight that will probably preclude us from staying there again, at least during summer months.

But if you are visiting outside of the summer heat and maybe if you are fortunate enough to not be allocated an attic room, this is a truly stunning, relaxing and peaceful retreat.

We arrived at Moulin Bleu late at around 9pm after a long drive from London. My four kids were excited to use the pool but I was worried it was too late, however our hosts welcomed us and asked my children if they were ready for the pool, putting me straight at ease. Our rooms were beautiful and extremely spacious, the breakfast was vast, the scenery gorgeous, and the hosts so friendly and welcoming. This was just a stopover as we drove to the Pyreenees but my children are asking when we will return this wonderful hotel next!
