We say GO. a couple of years ago - we were driven into the Kenlake State Park due to a terrible storm. It's a designated tornado shelter. Loved the friendly staff. Had lunch. Was delish. So - we scheduled a stay for 3 nights. Complaint...More

This property is undergoing renovations, as is clearly stated when I made reservations and at the desk. The parts we stayed in were clean and comfortable, with truly spectacular (frightening, even) water pressure on the first floor of the lodge. The pool was being fixed,...More

Rented a cottage for a week. Found a deal on hotels.com for $100/night. Friendly staff at the desk and in the restaurant downstairs. One bedroom, one bath, main room with full kitchen and a screened in porch on one side of the house, all quaintly...More

Always great views and friendly service people. Clean and updated. Prices are decent too. Comfortable beds and restaurant onsite. We went in the winter so couldn't take advantage of all that they offer for outside activities at the park.

They all had a level asphalt parking space, which is where people were putting their campers. Yes, beautiful view!

There are some sites on the water, but direct access to the water from the site is not possible. There are some paths to reach the water's edge, but the shoreline is VERY rocky. Water sandals would definitely be necessary.
