PROS My wife and I spent a couple of nights here with our two dogs. The main reason for choosing Giannella campsite was that they seemed very dog-friendly and had a dog beach close by. Despite being a little old and tired, the accommodation was good, fairly clean, and well laid out. For those travelling with dogs, there is a dog beach about 5 minutes walk away from the site. While we were there (Mid-September), there were around 10 to 15 dogs, many running free off-lead. The restaurant was excellent, the staff friendly, the choice of dishes was varied, and the quality of the food was superb. CONS The mattresses were a little lumpy. No mop supplied, and with dogs, you really need one. I understand it was the last couple of weeks of the season, but the supplies in the shop were very limited.

The location next to the only road in the area makes it impossible to sleep due to the noise of the traffic, the prices are more expensive than those of a hostel, considered that the staff doesn't have to do anything, they charge per person additional to the number of tents and an unspecified "tax" The dishonesty doesn't go well with the negligence towards the few facilities like a devastated toilet area. Also i wish the bar wouldn't make so many sassy comments and leave the consumers alone.

Time to say goodbye! Everything needs to be renewed. Toilets and Showers are disgusting. This also a place for different summer camp's for kids. So I will hardly recommend to find a better camping place.

Camp, well enough mantained, enough shadow. Wifi free all around the camp.Places for camper near main road, coast on the other side of the road. You have to find the way to the coast and walk on the sandy path to the very sandy beach without any shadow. Can not imagine to spend my hollidays on a beach like that but if you like sand everywhere maybe that's it.

Firstly don't know what people are on about for the price, €18 for one person whilst being expensive for camping is good relative to other campsites - it just seems the price you pay in Italy. People have complained on here because it is not a nice resort, if you want a nice resort, go to a nice resort not a campsite! The staff were friendly, I had plenty of space for my tent (in the middle of August). The toilets and bathrooms were clean. There was a restaurant and market. Yes they had the inevitable music for kids that goes on until midnight, but for some reason so do all campsites - on a sidenote it would be nice for a campsite to want to attract adults who are by themselves rather than just children but c'est la vie. This was one of the best campsites I have been to in the whole of Italy.

Hi, we went to camping Gianella with my familly, we'd seen a lot of other camping in the area but this one apealed to us because there was so much space, so we booked in, and we won't deceived. the people were extremely friendly, the boss is a very nice chap and always open to discussion. we were even treated to some street artist acts and relly enjoyed it. the restaurant is very good and the pizza are made in a wood oven. This is not a luxurious camping but a very friendly one and the kids all play together. have fun.
