From the first person we met at the reception area, we knew we would like the Kentucky Dam Village State Park. All staff were very friendly and it was a pleasure being shown around by the Assistant Park Manager, Michael Duffy. It was a great way to get to know the golf club, the residences and the park itself with...

We. Just spent three peaceful days at this beautiful State park. We chose a cabin which was clean, warm and provided us a view of magnificent Wild life in their natural habitat. Linen was spotless, provided daily and we enjoyed meals at the roomy Harbor Lights restaurant. We took advantage of the special on the cabins so we got a good...

We went with our youth group to a conference there. We stayed in the executive cottages. Very nice. We had 12 girls to cottage & slept comfortable. A full kitchen, 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms & outside patio with furniture. I love the beautiful scene but girls were happy with the 3 tv's.:-) I'm not a camper but I could...

The rooms were comfortable and they were clean. The grounds were beautiful and we felt safe out walking at any time. Our only problem was that it was hunting seasons and a lot of people had their dogs. The dogs were a problem for one family that was with our group.

The staff was very friendly, but our bed had been remade with dirty sheets from previous guests. It was full of little hairs and little clumps of mud. Maintenence was quick to bring clean linens which we changed ourself. They were apologetic but the hair was everywhere the closer I looked. So disappointed.

Cabins are very basic. Maintenance was an issue (air conditioner didn't work well). We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen was well stocked. But the Refrigerator didn't work. Good for a no frills type of vacay. We didn't catch many fish--way too hot and the lake was very warm.

I came here for a meeting which was held in the Convention center of the Kentucky Dam Village State Park. I stayed in the camping area during the last few days of operation before closing the RV park for the winter. The grounds were well kept and the pads were spacious even for my forty two foot bus. The bath...

I love this place. We went in Spring for a fisherman’s special and they ran out of regular cabins and we ended up in a 3 bedroom cabin with 2 bathrooms and a huge living room. I almost felt guilty for the price we paid. So, recently while on a trip to St. Louis, we stopped again. Just a regular...

Although we normally go out for dinner, my husband surprised me for lunch on my recent birthday. We went to the Harbor Lights Restaurant located in Kentucky Dam Village State Park at Gilbertsville, Kentucky. We were seated beside a curved wall of floor to ceiling windows. The view of Kentucky Lake and the dam was just beautiful. We both ordered...

The lodge rooms are in little buildings that circle the drive. The main lodge is at the end. It includes a lobby with tables and chairs to visit, play cards, or look out the windows at the beautiful view of the lake. There is a big fireplace in the middle. It wasn't lit when we were there. The restaurant is...
