Blackridge Hall in Georgetown, Kentucky is a beautifully decorated B & B located on spectacular land in the heart of Bluegrass Country. Its proprietor, Jim Black, as a 6th generation Kentuckian, is a wealth of information. We stayed at Blackridge Hall 5 nights while visiting the famous thoroughbred farms of the region and then attending the Kentucky Derby. Finally, the...

We were celebrating our 50th anniversary and were looking for a place that was really special. We found that place in Blackridge Hall. It is like stepping back in time to an Antebellum mansion. We were greeted at the door by the innkeeper, Jim Black. He had been very helpful with restaurant suggestions and sights in the area even before...

First class bed and breakfast! Excellent location! The best presentation of breakfast that we have ever experienced, and the selection of food was fantastic! This was a two-night getaway for us, and we would do it again without any hesitation. We had very comfortable accommodations in the Southern Heritage Suite. And to be greeted at the door by our host,...

My husband and I have stayed in a number of B&Bs, but this has to rank at the top of them all. We were greeted at the door by our host, Jim Black, who is very friendly and accommodating. We received a short tour of this elegant home (10,000 sq ft) and then he took us to our beautiful room,...

We recently spent 5 nights at Blackridge Hall, and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while touring Kentucky. This B&B is an absolute gem and Jim Black, the proprietor, is a wonderful person who quickly helped us to feel right at home. He greeted us at the door, and gave us a wonderful tour of his antebellum...

We stayed at Blackridge Hall B&B for our 25th Anniversary trip. We stayed in My Old Kentucky Home Suite as a special treat to us. Our room was most importantly comfortable. It also was luxurious with a sitting area and large bathroom. Our room opened to the veranda where we would have spent sometime sitting and enjoying the view except...

I've lived in Kentucky most of my life, but have never felt so much of the history and beauty of the Bluegrass region until I visited this absolutely lovely bed and breakfast. My husband and I went to the Kentucky Horse Park for the day -- this is one of the closest bed and breakfasts to that park, Kentucky enough...

My girlfriend and I stayed in Blackridge Hall for a night during our roadtrip to the Smokey Mountains. Host Jim Black was very friendly and informative. He had many suggestions about what to do in the area, unfortunately we did not have much time for activities. Jim also helped us with where to eat and stay at our next stop....

Thia was our second visit to this lovely home. Jim is a perfect example of what a host should be. Our suite "My Old Kentucky Home " couldn't have been more comfortable. The attention to detail is evident everywhere you are in their home. Thank you for such a restful and enjoyable stay.

Ahhh... After a long day's drive, I pulled into Blackridge Hall Bed and Breakfast. As you can see from my photos, it is a wonderful place with about 10,000 square feet and extensive grounds. I stayed there twice while driving to and from WI. On the first stay, I was with my elderly aunt so we booked the My Old...
