After been for leisurely drive over the Stiperstones, my partner and I called in at the White Horse Pulverbatch for Sunday lunch. It is many years since i last visited this little gem, and are happy to report that it was worth the wait. The pub/resturant is tastefully decorated, with a lovely ambiance. We were greeted warmly, and promptly shown...

A return to the White Horse has been on the cards for a while - finally it happened. A great welcome, some super beers, and a nice meal too. The pub seems to have improved and it really has a community feel to it. We look forward to returning soon.

This village community pub has a traditional bar area with an open log fire and a more contemporary styled restaurant area. We visited as a family and received a warm welcome. Service was excellent and the quality of the food could not be faulted. It is a short distance from Shrewsbury but not on any of the main routes so...

We stayed at The White Horse Inn for one night and only found it through Laterooms.com but it was well worth the visit. We were made very welcome by the host and his wife and really enjoyed our stay. The meal was delicious made with locally sourced products and our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was way up...

Thursday 4th August We were trying to find a bite to eat outside of Shrewsbury town centre and had heard from friends about this countryside pub. A straight road out from Shrewsbury brought us to Pulverbatch. On arriving we were surprised by how busy it was on a Thursday night! The landlord/owner greeted us and said there would be a...

Simply excellent. If you're looking for something a bit different and upmarket compared to the usual boring pub food then you would do well to try The White Horse. The service from the couple owned pub is nothing short of brilliant. The sheer love and care put into the food preparation is clear. Meals are delicious and lovingly arranged. The...

We were staying nearby and visited for our evening meal twice. There is a comfortable relaxed atmosphere , the staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient and the food was good. There were 3 of us and all non meat eaters. The menu was varied and the chef had attempted successfully to offer dishes that were well presented and tasty....

Visited with friends who had been before. Beautifully cooked 3 course meal. The chicken parfait was gorgeous and the lamb really tasty. Good selection of fresh veg. Rhubarb creme brûlée was to die for. All praises for Richard floyd the chef on very well cooked tasty food.

Hi I am pleased to give a review and recommendation for this pub / restaurant. I used to find here regularly around 10 years ago when a scots couple owned it and the food, beer and atmosphere was fab then but since two changes of management my visit here in December has gone to another level. I do not fine...

Thanks for your kind review. It's lovely to hear from people who have fond memories of The White Horse from it's heyday and have then returned and feel it's back to or even exceeding that. We're proud of what we've achieved in the 4 years we've been here and work hard with our head chef to ensure our food is...
