The amenities were great. Pool, gym, and breakfast were all great. Close to the Ark and Creation Museum which is why we were there. We stayed for 3 nights and the first night was great. Second and third night were terrible. There was someone staying above us and we heard them (what sounded like) running and jumping ALL NIGHT LONG. it was very loud and it kept our whole family awake. We got hardly any sleep. For the price we paid, we expected to be able to get restful sleep here but that was not the case at all. The floors and walls must be thin as we heard so much noise! Heard lots of sirens all night as well.
We were here for the Ark encounter. I normally stay at Marriott. I was greeted as soon as I arrived and she was very informative and professional. She did inform us that house keeping would only come if asked. I did not question it, figured it was due to staffing. The room was new clean and bare. I was looking for more home like atmosphere. No paintings or sofa. There was no safe. I never bring anything worth of value, but I do like to lock up my electronics and spare cash in them. Bathroom was also clean and there was adequate room for my and my mothers toiletries. After traveling all day I wanted to take a shower, only to find out the body wash was empty. Breakfast was good. I was happy to see enough room for visitors to sit and eat. I was a little disappointed that there was not enough of a selection for breakfast. Everything was prepackaged besides oatmeat, hard boiled eggs and muffins. My son only eats cereal and cheerios were out. He also is allergic to dairy and normally they have soy at other Marriotts, this one did not. Coffee was perfect. My mother who is a great lover of coffee, enjoed it very much. Pool was also clean and there was no strong odor of chlorine. It was not bath water hot either, which is a plus. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay and would stay again. …
First off all, Lacey from the front desk was very nice. I have a hidden disability and I have aphasia. I can’t speak very well. I told another front desk person (not Lacey) that I needed the shuttle to pick me up from the airport. She said would put my request down after explaining my disability. Apparently she couldn’t understand me. And I waiting an hour in the heat. I had to call my mom to call the front desk call the shuttle. Lacey dispatched the driver immediately. But I am a little upset. I think the other front desk person was nasty and didn’t want to talk to me because my disability. She acted like I bothered her. Other than that, the hotel was nice. The tv was awkward a little. Lacey was wonderful. And the bearded driver and nick too was nice and friendly. There was a free breakfast and pool and lots of restaurants around.…
Spent three nights at the Townhouse Suites in Florence Kentucky. This is a fairly new hotel and you can tell they are still working out some kinks. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful but there didn’t seem to be others around much. The breakfast has a bunch to be desired as it it primarily microwaved items still in their olatic bags. The hotel shuttle, I was told doesn’t start until around 8 am, unless for anyone with an early morning flight out of nearby CVG airport. I also don’t know how this is considered a suite as there was one room (sparsely decorated) a hallway with kitchen items and the bathroom, hardly a suite. Overall OK stay but probably wouldn’t stay here again as there are other hotel options in the area.
The room was fantastic! Even though it was not a two room suite like other versions of this hotel or comparable Hilton brands, the separation of kitchen, living, and sleep space was perfect. The room was quiet and I didn’t hear neighbors next door. I did hear the upstairs neighbor, however. The workout space was great. Just enough equipment and variety. Breakfast was mediocre which is the reason for the 4 star review. Breakfast could use more variety especially with toast!
Our room here was wonderful. Very clean and with a full sized fridge, microwave, cook top and dishwasher. Bed was more than comfortable. The staff have been friendly and helpful. One thing is, you have to ask to have your room cleaned. So, if you want a daily room tidy up, let them know. The breakfast is not worth it. They have pre packaged waffles and sausage biscuits. No eggs. The oatmeal container was empty. The sign for blueberry compote had nothing with it. No cereal. We bought our own breakfast items and fixed breakfast in our room. We were here for 3 nights to go to Ark Encounter and Creation Museum and would definitely come back.
As of this writing, there is only one review of this hotel, with a rating of “1,” so I feel compelled to take a couple of minutes to provide this location the good rating it deserves. First, I believe this location is only about 1 month old—new and clean is always a good thing! The lobby area is very clean, open, airy, bright and nicely appointed. The room was very clean and fresh, and the bed and pillows very comfy. I requested some additional pillows, and the receptionist kindly and promptly provided them. Finally, my wife said the complimentary breakfast was pretty much standard fare—I enjoyed the oatmeal she brought back to the room. We will certainly plan to stay here the next time we’re in the area.
Booked thru app and noted we'll be 'Bringing a pet' (there's a box to check) . Paid in full on app but was told upon arrival that dog would be extra $150. Hmmm. How is that not part of checkout on the app.??Nothing said 'you still owe $150'. The Mgr said 'it's stated on the website'.. but it WASN'T STATED AT CHECKOUT OR CONFIRMATION EMAIL! Oh.. 'and most people that complain just pay it'. No thank you! We spent 15 min and booked the Hilton .3 miles down the street. I am only happy that they issued a full refund, but felt like it was a scam. I guess could have done mobile key and no one would have even seen the 5lb dog. C'mon.. I'm sure standard app features allow programming 'extras' be added to the cart... but they'd rather scam people? Not cool!!
