We stayed here while visiting Creation Museum and the Ark. There are a lot Of shopping and places to eat near by. Far enough away for interstate to not hear it. Room was very clean, eating area was huge compared to some hotels. Food was good. We would stay here if we visit this area again.
This hotel is very nice and quiet. We liked the hot breakfast in the morning and the large dining tables which we used to play some games in the evening. Though it's very close to the airport the noise from planes was not obtrusive. The only thing we would have liked was a safe in the room and exhaust fan in the bathroom. Also, grips on the floor of the shower. Speaking of the shower...it was awesome! Big and a lot of hot water. Other reviewers seemed to feel the hotel was not clean but we don't agree with that. And, housekeeping is only as requested. But we don't change the sheets everyday at home and there were plenty of towels so for us it was not a big deal. We would happily stay there again if in that town.
I was in a desperate situation. After breaking down on the side of the road after any service shops were open, I was able to be towed to Florence, KY, but then I needed a place to stay for the night. I called 7 other hotels before finally hitting a winner with the Comfort Suites. Google showed them to be a 2 star hotel, but when you're desperate for a room you can't be overly picky. I quickly reserved the room so I knew I'd have somewhere to sleep once I was towed into town. When I walked into the lobby it was very clean, with a huge breakfast area that had ample amounts of seating so if you just wanted to hang out and work on your laptop outside of your room you had a comfy place to do so. The check in process was smooth as could be and I was on my way to my room within minutes. When I walked in my jaw dropped. I even called back down to ensure I wasn't in a suite but nope, I was in a regular room. There was an L-shaped sofa in the room, a slightly separated king size bed from the seating area and a huge desk for working on with a comfy chair. Since I was going to miss work the next day (being stranded and all) I knew I had to get some work done before the morning. I was comfortable sitting there and before I realized it 3 hours had passed. Then I went into the bathroom and was stunned. The shower was the cleanest and most modern I've ever seen. I hate hotels that have a shower curtain as you know those aren't cleaned each visit and when they brush up against your leg I get grossed out. This shower had a glass partition, that was open in the back to walk in, and had a cut out at the front to operate the controls. I thought there was no way that water wasn't going to end up all over the bathroom, but sure enough the floor stayed dry as could be. There was great water pressure and no drainage issues. When I finally got into bed I thought that this is where I was finally going to have an issue. There were 6 square blocks of pillows on the bed. They were thick enough that stacking them wouldn't have been comfortable, but I know I'm not a person who can only sleep on one pillow. Well I tried it with one of the square pillows and it was so comfortable that I fell asleep almost immediately (I normally have mega problems falling asleep so that is truly an amazing feat). I slept the whole night through and had to use my alarm to wake up as I was very relaxed and comfortable in the bed. There was ample plugs by the bedside, and also on the desk for charging any type of device you could want. There was also a directional spot light on the bedside lamp to use while reading in bed so as to not disturb a partner next to you with too much light. Check out process was super simple as well. I didn't stay for the continental breakfast as I wanted to be at the repair shop first thing when they opened. If I'm ever in the area again, be it emergency situation or for pleasure, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.…
Used to be one of my favorite places to stay. This time no so much! Rooms used one really clean. This time went to the store and purchased cleaning supplies to clean the room myself. Just overall feeling of yuck! Filthy tables, cushions on the couches were disgustingly stained, didn’t want to touch anything!!!!!! Giant red stain on the carpet! When a room is I this condition, it shouldn’t be rented out until the issues are rectified. For the price, I at least expect a clean room. Opting to stay somewhere else from now on.
I asked for my bed to be made and fresh towels as the picture suggested....they pretended (1...wrote in her notebook 2...said he would see it was done). If I had known they only give housekeeping services on the 3rd day I would have chosen another hotel! Checked in on Sunday and checked out Tuesday.
Well, it’s time to say it. Comfort Inn and Suites is going to give their competition a real run for their money. Especially, is location. This hotel has immaculate grounds befitting a great curb appeal. Beautiful, bold first impression when first viewing it on the rounded curve. When we first saw it, we could not believe it was a Comfort Inn. It is very clean inside. The public areas are expansive and well attended. The breakfast was not nearly as “classy” as the hotel. No hot food other than toast and waffles. No meat. But, each of the attendants made sure it was well stocked with what they had to offer. Hard boiled eggs were available and the raisin bread was very fresh. All the employees at this Inn were well dressed and clean. Not something one sees everyday. Of course, all travelers notice the hospitality of the front desk first. It is difficult to make a good first impression the second time. These front desk staff members were very good and answered questions about the local attractions and restaurants with the sure knowledge that they knew what they were talking about. The airport makes this location a little noisy and there are some kids that make a little noise but the rooms are just outstanding: clean, large and well kept. You just have to see this place to believe it.…
This hotel has all you need for a great stay. Plenty of essentials. No need to call down for them. Big room. Limited breakfast but still a good selection. Easy check in. Employees very pleasant. Clean, safe. Inside pool. Close to Creation Museum and The Ark. Good bed, nice shower. Coffee pot in room. You can hear the planes, we had a sound machine at night which eliminated that. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed at 3rd floor. I hear every single steps kids running and jumping around till 12am. I called front desk twice to fix issue. People on hallway, you will hear everything. Breakfast was small variety of continental breakfast. Everybody wants waffle, so will be line at busy time. Bed and pillow was comfortable. Pool area was very hot, water also very warm side. Overall it’s ok.
Entire room was unclean-brown yucky something on the soap holders, drawers had food residue in them as well as around the microwave. Black out curtains were broken and laying on the window sill. Carpet in front of air conditioner was soaked. Complained to manager and owner and was told that since I was so unhappy, I should find another place to stay, in which I did. Managment needs severe training in dealing with his hotel.
We stayed two nights while visiting northern KY. When we first checked in, my wife commented that the carpet had not been vacuumed very well as there were small pieces of hard plastic clothing tags on the floor. The bathroom walls had scuff marks and needed painting. There was trash by the elevator that needed to have been collected but remained there the entire time of our stay. When we returned to the room after the first night, the beds had not been made and the wet towels were still in the room. When I called the front desk, I was told that I had to "request housekeeping" If that is the policy, I should have been told when I checked in. I realize that covid has changed a lot of things but really? Making the beds and providing clean linens is a staple of the hospitality industry. When I called the front desk, I was told that they couldn't send up clean towels; I had to go get them. Add to this the fact that the hotel is in the flight path of the local airport. The commercial jets start taking off over the hotel about 5:30 in the morning. I'd expect something like this from a $90 a night hotel; Not from one that is $150 a night. I won't be back…
