Brilliant service from Management and Staff throughout our weekend stay. Everybody was so helpful. Great setting on the riverside and approx. 100m from Highley Steam Train Station, which is a must to travel on.

Having previously visited a little while ago and had a superb meal at a reasonable price I was very disappointed with a visit made on the 2nd January. I was looking forward to a similar experience but it was not to be. I ordered the large cod and chips with mushy peas with a hefty price tag of £11.00. The...

I was pressed to give 2 circles for the ship inn. We had a very rude waitress who it seemed may be have been deaf.. After family suggesting it may be her first day etc, I fail to see how she got the job. 0 people skills and total ignorance. Prior to coming we called and asked about gluten free...

Went here as a family today, bar staff great as always. Waitresses were a real let down, rushing to take orders when we weren't even seated or had been given menus, menu was very limited indeed, but must say the food was served hot and was tasty so thanks for that.. A real shame really as partner & I used...

Amazing value for money considering the food is home made and fresh, deserts are mouthwatering and staff very friendly. Positioned on the edge of the river Severn this place was a real find and one I shall return to on a regular basis.

The Ship in provided an excellent base for visiting the area including delightful towns such as Bridgnorth, Iron Bridge and Shrewsbury. The Ship itself had excellent room and facilities. Breakfast and evening meals were both excellent. Staff excellent . No complaints at all and superb value for money. Picturesque and a must visit place. 😊

Stayed for 2 nights B&B. The bar and lounge are really attractive. The rooms are clean, cosy and well equipped. The food is extremely good value, tasty and with good portion size. The staff are very friendly, attentive and professional. The hotel is in a lovely location overlooking the River Severn and next to the steam railway. All in all...

Overall the Ship was excellent with food, beverages and service all super, the room we were in, room 1, although comfortable was a bit cramped. The location for walkers and fishermen is great and we walked into Bewdley and Bridgenorth along the Seven, both of which are well worth a visit, the Kings Head in Bridgeorth highly recommended.
