The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. We appreciated the breakfast and the breakfast area. It was a clean place to sit with the family for a supper take out! The pool was nice. The rooms were quiet. We had a king size bed and slept well! We’d stay again.
This hotel is great! Friendly staff and great breakfast. Our room was clean and the bed & pillows were comfy. My husband and I came to visit the Ark Encounter, which is about 10 minutes away. Would stay again if coming to the area again. My only complaint would be that the water pressure in the shower could be better.
Overall at first our room seemed nice and tidy. My husband and young son began having terrible allergy symptoms and using their rescue inhalers. I also noticed our room was stuffy and wouldn’t cool. I started looking around and found mounds of dust/dirt and the air conditioner filer was thick with dust/dirt/lint. I tried calling the front desk and couldn’t get anyone to answer so started cleaning on my own. I clean the air filters and even the door way where you enter the room. There was dust behind the toilet and I found a toothpick- we don’t travel with toothpicks. I’ll attach a few photos I took for reference. Whoever stays in this room next- I hope you can enjoy your stay after I’ve deep cleaned it!
Stayed here one night after visiting the Ark Encounter. This hotel needs a major upgrade. Quite dingy, and week WiFi. This is one of the worst locations in an otherwise fine hotel chain. I would not stay here again.
We stayed here to visit the Ark Encounter (about 15 minutes away) and the Creation Museum (about 35 minutes away). The hotel breakfast was okay, but there was a crowd and the staff was scrambling to replenish items. The property is outdated and needs a facelift. The outlets in our room wouldn’t hold our phone chargers. The hair dryer was on the fritz. The fitness room had two pieces of equipment and medicine balls. The staff was nice, but seemed stretch thin at times. We visited Frisch’s Big Boy restaurant next door for a hot fudge cake, and that was a treat and convenient. For the price paid, the value was certainly lacking.
We went to the Ark Adventure and stopped in first to drop off our luggage. Even though check-in is listed as 3PM, we called ahead and the staff was very helpful and had a room cleaned for us. When we returned the room (401) was large, clean, and most importantly quiet. This location is a couple of exits up from the Ark Adventure so it’s very convenient but there’s not many dining options in Dry Ridge.
Stayed here since I was going to visit the Ark Encounter. Front desk clerk was very friendly when she checked me in. The lobby has recently been painted and looked very nice. The room had comfortable furniture and the room was clean. Breakfast was just okay, nothing special. But this was one of the noisiest hotels. I had a connecting room and even with the fan and tv running, I could still hear almost every word that was said next door. Not to mention the running up and down the halls. Maybe if you don't have a connecting room, it would be quieter...?
Great hot breakfast and the staff was very friendly! They loved my dog and even gave him a bisquit. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Great place to stop off during the winter storm.
This was the best hotel I’ve stayed in , I’m so long I’m extremely satisfied with my room the breakfast was the absolute best the staff was so accommodating also I would recommend anyone going that way to stay there
The hotel and room was very clean, the breakfast bar was exceptional with many different foods to choose from and the beds were very comfortable. The woman doing the breakfast bar was so friendly, kind and helpful!
