My wife and I stayed several nights and were very impressed with the hotel for many reasons. First was the hotel's associates. A shout-out to our Housekeeping Aid Tamyra who was very personable, although most importantly insured our room was in place each day to our liking. Thank you Tamyra for making us feel like VIPs. The front desk associate Gracie placed us in a wonderful room that was perfect for our 2-night stay. The location is ideal for walking everywhere. We walked over to downtown Cincinnati four times during our stay. If you are a runner, this hotel is also in the perfect location surrounded by running trails and bridges. The hotel itself is very updated and cleanliness was outstanding. Thanks for a wonderful stay and I have already booked another room for my next stay when I am returning to the area.

This was for a business meeting where we used a conference room with catered breakfast and lunch for several days

First, I will say the conference services were outstanding. The pricing was reasonable, meals were great, especially breakfast where the chef even stopped in to make sure we enjoyed the meal. The conference room was clean and comfortable and the service was excellent.

My overall rating is lower because the rest of the hotel did not live up to the conference services. The first floor bathrooms near the conference area consistently lacked bathroom tissue. The rooms were dated and no matter what I did I was unable to keep my room cool while I slept. Several members of our group complained of waking and being to hot. Overall, the room was not bad, just more dated than other Courtyard properties I’ve stayed in recently

Conference Services - 5 stars
Rest of hotel - 3 stars
Overall - 4 stars

I gave up Courtyards years ago when then put in the "Starbux" kiosks and took out lobby coffee. But this was on our route to Cleveland and close to a restaurant we wanted to go to.
We were greeted when we arrived, but as a Gold Elite Marriott member, there was no arrival gift nor upgrade offered.
The room was typical Courtyard, but it was clean, comfortable, and had a semi view of downtown Cincinnati. It also had covered parking which was nice since it rained the whole time we were there.
Bottom line, either ditch the Starbux and get lobby coffee back (I did order a cup and was handed a cup and directed to an urn of pre-made) or put more than on packet of coffee ( regular, not decaf) in each room....even better, offer extra as a welcome gift instead on water

We attended the Taylor Swift concert. The rate was under $200, while other hotels were at least $500. I loved how they set up a cardboard cut-out of Taylor, with a Cinci background, in the lobby for pictures. Room was nice with for 4 people, with a sink outside the bathroom and large mirrored closet door for getting ready. We had a balcony, sleep sofa, and mini fridge. Uber was $8 to the stadium and we were able to walk across the bridge afterwards. Normally I would have tried the tram, but they moved the stop 7 blocks from the stadium due to road closures. We had yummy avocado toast at their restaurant in the morning. Loved the free popcorn and mint water in the lobby, too.

Typical great Courtyard hotel. It is located right on the Ohio River, our room had a great view of downtown Cincinnati. Staff friendly and helpful. The parking garage for us was included in the room rate, you must checkin before you can get through the garage gates.

There is a Waffle House and fast food directly across the street. Other restaurants I'd advise driving to. There are freight train tracks over the river next to the hotel, we could hear faint rumbling and wheel screeching - but we're used to the L in Chicago so slept through it.

Looking for a place to stop on my way from Canton to Nashville and this Courtyard was about half way. Overall, the property was very good. The room was clean and neat. The staff that I encountered were all professionally dressed and took care of anything I needed. The check in and check out process was easy. My only complaint is that with the bridge across the Ohio river closed, it was a little difficult to find the place. My Google map took me all over the place. Additionally, you park in a parking garage that is next to the main entrance, however it seemed safe. I did not take advantage of the bistro that they have, so I have no opinion on that. There were numerous breakfast areas within walking distance that offered more options. To conclude, I would probably stay here again, especially if the bridge is back open and it is easier to get to.

It was ok. No real complaints. But the work out room was out of order but then wasn't. The front desk staff was very friendly but not overly knowledgable. We got a free breakfast as part of the soccer team and, as always, glad to see fresh fruit. Once the work out room opened there was no towels OR wipes to be found. The room and common areas were all clean. The coffee AND hot water was constantly out but if you asked, it would get refilled. Our room shared a door with the next one and we could hear everything they said. Luckily, they had a toddler and seemed to go to bed early. The being able to log into our own Netflix account was a nice touch. Not a bad stay but for this price point I might check out a different hotel in the area next time.

Such a loud hotel. If you get a riverside room, it comes with a close up view of the local dump and the rusty bridge, and you also get a lot of loud train noises from the trains passing at all hours of the night, and you’ll hear the occasional person screaming from the river walk below. If you get a room on the the city side, you will get drag racing noises and the sounds of sirens going off all night. Basically it’s like a war zone around this hotel.

The room was quite dated and felt old inside. Old carpet. Old furniture. Poor lighting. The walls are thin and I could hear foot steps and voices from next door. I could also feel the wall shaking as people in the room next door were laying on their bed. Not good at all.

This hotel is not on par with other Courtyards by Marriott that I’ve stayed with. At least the parking was free.

Just average for a Marriott… Not really up to snuff for what this motel should be. Rooms smelly, carpet dirty…..I am a gold meber…. They would not let me check out a day early with a 32 hour advance notice (without charging me)! Never encountered this at a Marriott before… completely inflexible! Pick another location!

Building and motif are a bit dated. Location is great to get around but if you want to walk to places, suggest a hotel on the other side of the river. But Covington area has some trendy places to eat and the Freedom Bell and Newport Aquarium are just down the street a couple kilometers. Parking garage is ample, but if you may want to go out for breakfast. Staff were polite and hospitable. Not a great hotel per say, but price point and location are pluses.
