This was my second time staying here and once again I am glad I chose this accommodation. Everyone from the manager to housekeeping are so friendly and helpful. Love that the location is so convenient to downtown Cincinnati. Highly recommend staying here.
Usually when I come to Covington, it is for work. This time it is just for fun with the family! As usual the staff Front Desk/Housekeeping were on the spot! The lobby was adorned with all Christmas Decorations a heart could desire! The Front Desk gave me great suggestions of the local Christmas Lights and a must see Fountain Square! Can’t wait to come back in the new year!
I just want to say how impressed I was with the front desk staff! Sarah, Samantha, Brandon, Daniel, and the manager, Tim, were always there with a smile and answer to all my questions. I was pleased with the rooms. Everything was ready to make me feel at home. The restaurants were just about everything your stomach could ask for. Go to Covington! Stay here and trust the front desk staff’s suggestions on food, you won’t be disappointed!
I was recently in town for an interview and had a very pleasant stay here. The front desk staff was friendly, accommodating, and seemed happy to answer all my questions about the area. I was also glad to see all the staff wearing masks and encouraging guests to wear masks as well. My room was clean and comfortable and actually better than I expected. The breakfast provided was simple but tasted good. If I end up moving to town, I plan on staying here while I find permanent housing.
Once again I am back in Covington and I stay at my favorite hotel! As always the staff is caring, friendly, and welcoming! The hotel is clean and close to downtown Cincinnati. A great deal for the price. Even with masks hiding their faces, you can still see the smiles in their eyes 😀
I would recommend NEVER staying at this location, and I certainly will never stay at another Extended Stay after our experience. 1) We had two separate rooms for a long weekend. Both myself and another family member in a separate room woke up with bites on our bodies. I have 5 on one arm that are extremely itchy, large, and red and the other guest had one extremely large bite on her side that is sore to the touch. For both of us the bites are still an issue over a week later and saw a doctor to get prescribed antibiotics. 2) We asked the staff to check the rooms after we received the bites, and they said they would spray the window; but was not given an update unless we reached out and not confirmed if they did this. We appreciate spraying the windows, but obviously the bites happened while we were sleeping. Also, if I were guest relations and had issues I would take this opportunity to get fresh bedding and towels after complaining about bites. 3) We reached out after our stay (looking back we should have cancelled after the first night) in regards to our experience, and once again have not heard back from the Extended Stay group five days later. 4) Finally, though their were signs posted throughout the hotel for all guest to wear masks while outside their rooms; we were often the only guests wearing masks. Management and others employed with Extended Stay were in masks, but did not enforce their guests to do so. Besides this, some of the guests seemed drunk at 9 am, not wearing shoes in the lobby, or otherwise unkempt. 5) Poor wifi.…
On the bad side - Definetly in need of an upgrade, the room had old, dirty carpet (musty odor). The bathrooms had no exhaust fans or ventilation. The stairs smelled of smoke and not very clean. On the plus side - the front desk was friendly and helpful. The location was great, many restaurants nearby and a shuttle to downtown Cincinnati.
This is a great hotel, great location and great staff. Lots of restaurants and attractions nearby. Also convenient access from I-75/71. Short walk to public transit options. The staff is very attentive to the needs of guests.
Our stay was adults and 11 week old for some family fun in Cincinnati. Upon entering our room I immediately smelled a strong smell of cigarettes. We are allergic and had infant so went to desk to alert. The lady at the desk was friendly about it, said we would get a free upgrade, but the obvious man in charge stepped in and gave us a different room down the hall. It was fine at first, until an hour later I smelled smoke from the hall side of our room, it was coming in our room badly from someone smoking down the hall! We called front desk, but continued to smell the rest of the night and I woke up see with a headache from smoke and tired from heavyweight wrestling above me all night. Disappointed and won't go back.
I travel a lot for business. I know good from bad. This was worse. The room may or may not be clean based on the colors and the carpet. The halls were narrow and felt like a jail. No vending machines of any kind. The front desk told me it was ok to walk to an entertainment district about a half-mile away. Bad idea. The bathroom is so small you can't use the facilities without banging your knees on the door.
