Stayed there over a weekend. Due to my flight schedule, I arrived early morning - much before the check in time. In spite of weekend traffic, the front staffs were courteous enough to allow me an early check in. Thank you guys. We booked two cottages. My brother and family joined later and we had nice time.
Old and ageing property that needs a facelift and definitely a new staff.. there are small things that make a good property great and also small things that make it poor. Ramada Kochi falls in the latter category. Let me list out things that prompted me to go down one star. We checked into the hotel on a Sunday afternoon. The check in time was 1:00 pm. We arrived at 2:00 pm and the room was not ready. That wasn’t it: 1. The room was not clean enough. Dust on the headrest, shabby bathroom. Door of the wardrobe almost coming down. Just the little things. 2. We then went to the pool. That was the low lite of the trip. Full of guests not appropriately dressed. Naked kids, some in regular diapers, women in saris and salwar kameez. Totally shocking scenes. That was the first and last time we used the pool. 3. Noisy neighbors: a large group occupying several rooms on the same floor kept their doors open and indulged in some noise creation. Complains to front desk also didn’t help much. 4. The gym was a total let down. They should just close it down before it causes a serious injury to someone. The treadmill was stopping and jerking suddenly. The floor was all tiles and dangerous to use weights. No attendant in the gym either. Overall, nothing to write home about.…
very nice resort to stay in. Clean and comfortable rooms. the swimming pool is just amazing. A fitness center is also available and very good.Spa is perfect too (calm and relaxing). The breakfast is amazing. I would recommend to stay more than 2 nights to rest as much as the Resort is providing excellent services for that.
A nice property in Kochi to retreat and unwind from daily life. We had a two days stay at Luxury King Room with Lake View. Post Covid, only one out of three restaurants are opened yet. However, we could enjoy sufficient options of our food with restaurant FENNEL. Staffs were very nice and helpful to us.
The property is well kept and being surrounded by a lake gives an out of the world experience. Excellent and courteous service. They have three restaurants but only one was functioning during out visit. The food was perfect, and the menu though a bit limited on choices has tried to cover a bit of every cuisine.
