Stopped on our way home from TN. Cabin was clean, spacious, and the buffet at the lodge was absolutely delicious!! Two thumbs up on the food! Only downside was that there was no covered deck. It was raining and we would have liked to sit outside. Will stay here again if in the area.

Just an okay stay at the Lodge. Room was average. Good price on the buffet at the Two Rivers restaurant. Lodge itself needs some updating. No fridge, no microwave, and the Wifi never worked. Would be okay for a nature stay maybe. It was quiet and secluded.

We stayed here for a night, mostly because we had a pass for a free night at a state park. The lodge, overall, feels very dated but our room was clean and had been updated. The walls are thin, and unfortunately we were next to some loud guests. We ate dinner in the tavern. Small beer selection, they were out...

We couldn't be more satisfied with our one night getaway to General Butler State Park. Our queen room is spacious, modern and very, very clean. The pillows and mattress are very comfortable. The view from the balcony and the bed is amazing. Just returned from a one hour hike around the grounds and getting ready for dinner in the Two...

First let me say this was our 1st time here - We travel to Kentucky every presidents day weekend to spend it with my step-daughters - This is not a review of the park as much as a review of the cottage - We could stay in a hotel but that would get crowded and does ..lol..so we think outside...

General Butler Lodge is a great choice to stay if you are in the area. The staff is nice. The restaurant is good. The rooms are rustic but updated. I would recommend this place. The lodge is located on many acres. There is a golf course and General Butler's historic mansion. If you are staying in this area, this would...

We stayed one night in a one bedroom cabin. We were attending an event at General Butler so it was convenient. We have often stopped to eat at the restaurant (Two Rivers) and enjoy it, so we assumed the we would enjoy the stay. The cottage was clean. That is about all I can say. The decor must have come...

Beds and pillows are comfortable. The shower water flow rate is good. The WIFI is not excellent but is good. There is no microwave and no refrigerator in the room. The ice maker is close to the wing I stayed in and is very good at providing ice. There is a large equipment area near one wing of the rooms...

The first room I was assigned to was not made up so I waited about 15 minutes for a new room assignment, which is not the end of the world, but I was arriving late night and tired. The rooms were up to standard for a park resort with large balconies. There is a huge outdoor pool so I can...

Notable issues -- but worse is that the matters were informed to the front desk, to the KY state park survey, and in direct email to the supposed park manager, with not a single acknowledgement from anyone ... this simply underscores their issues further.... avoid this place if your can ... Pre room matters: • Check in person at desk...
