Not wanting to sound repetitive and having only more good comments to add to the other glowing reviews for Boone’s Tavern Hotel, it is hard to know what to tell you that you don’t already know except to ‘stay here if you have the opportunity’. In my opinion the building is visually stunning, historically fascinating; the service outstanding throughout, the...

A wonderful weekend & a wonderful hotel & staff. I was there for a family wedding & could not have been more impressed! The hotel is great, but the staff makes it even better. Everyone in all departments went over & beyond in guest quality service. But I did want to give special praise to one staff member, Admiral B....

I stayed 5 nights as I attended two different LearnShops on watercolor painting. The hotel is well kept with a staff that is really eager to please the visitor. The room was comfortable and the furnishing are beautiful. I read that the beds and chests of drawers are made by the students in the college. They are made of hardwoods,...

Thank you for your review. That is correct about the furniture being made by the students. The students also make the mirrors and the woven waste baskets. We are happy to hear that you had a comfortable week here with us! See you soon!

First time visit to Berea. Went to research some family history. Boone tavern is owned by Berea College and the students work there to pay their room and board. The service was outstanding! We had the chicken with risotto and the tempura salmon. Both were incredibly good. Stayed in the junior suite on the second floor that has been recently...

History of college & hotel is fascinating, so we were delighted to stay here during the Festival of Learnshops (which gave us a great discount on rooms). While some say the rooms are too small, they must not realize that's the nature of a historic inn. The bed was really comfortable, blackout curtains plus no noise from the street made...

Your review was so sweet. Thank you! Some of our rooms are on the smaller side but we like to think of ourselves as a big house. We were built over 100 years ago as a guest house for people who would visit the college. We thank you for appreciating that. We hope that you come back every year for...

Worth staying at got a queen bed and breakfast for $100 AAA rate. Lots of History here built in 1909 it has had several Presidents stay here. Rooms are a bit small but most rooms were in the early 1900s. Food was excellent. Service was ok mostly college students. Great place to take a walk in the Berea College grounds...

My husband and I had visited Berea last year and ate at the Boone Tavern. We enjoyed our visit so much that we decided we would return and stay at the majestic Boone Tavern. Our stay was very pleasant, our room was nice but the bed was small. We ate dinner there and the meal was wonderful - service was...

The reservation process was done well. She was very friendly and because I was new to the area I was reassured I made the right decision to stay there rather than one of the chains. She advised which suite to stay in but then it ended up it wasn't available but assured me the suite I picked was nice also....

Very nice hotel. Small rooms. Very friendly staff. The restaurant attached to it is on the expensive side. I would stay there again. We went to Renfro Valley to see a show which is about 20 min away and I would suggest that also. There's some shops to look in that we didn't get to go to all of them.

Thank Jan J

A return visit must be in order to be able to see all of the shops! We hope you come back and stay with us soon!

We had a lovely visit to the quiet and quaint town of Berea Kentucky. Our stay at the historic Boone Tavern Hotel was mostly enjoyable. The staff was accommodating and efficient. The interior of the hotel is really beautiful having been renovated in 2006. Most of the room furnishings were handmade by Berea College students. The dining room is attractive....
